The property was located in a beautiful are in the hills above Sorrento. It was a quite a walk but doable. Gianluigi was an outstanding host, he picked us up from the ferry and provided rides every night from the city center to the property. Breakfast every morning delicious, fresh tomatoes and olive oil from his olive trees. Staying at Casarufolo was like staying at a good friend’s house. We would definitely recommend staying there.

The main thing that stuck out to me when considering booking Casarufolo Paradise was the kind words about the host Gianluigi and they were not wrong! Gianluigi is a very accommodating and personable host. He offers shuttles from Piazza Tasso at 8 and 9pm and anytime between 10pm-12am for a fee. The room was very clean and sheets were switched over once during my three night stay. The view from my window was incredible! It is a very steep walk if you are considering walking to Casarufolo Paradise, but it is manageable. Overall I loved my stay and would definitely stay again!

Amazing accommodation with fantastic views. Guianluigi is an amazing host and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a really lovely hotel up the mountains.

Casarufolo truly lived to its name, it really is a piece of paradise in a very paradisiacal location like Sorrento. The property has breath taking views of Sorrento from every single angle, it is situated in a very tranquil part. The owner Luigi is amazing, he goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. He will also pick you up and drop you off at Sorrento and accomodate your drop off should you have a scheduled tour early in the morning. I highly recommend staying at Casarufolo, the rooms and the service overall are excellent and Luigi is an amazing host.

Gianluigi and his family were wonderful hosts in this amazingly unique property up in the hills of Sorrento. You have a beautiful view of the city and coast from the property, and the staff make you feel at home. The property is up a steep hill, but Gianluigi will immediately shuttle you up and down in his car upon request. Staying at casarufolo paradise made our Sorrento trip even better! Would stay again! 5 stars!

Best place with an amazing view & fabulous host!

We had an amazing stay with Luigi and his family. The view is something I’ve never seen from accomodation before. It’s out of this world. Luigi is one the loveliest people we have ever met. He picked us up from in town whenever needed, provided breakfast and services whenever requested. Nothing was a trouble. He even drove us to the station at 5am. Thank you so much Luigi and family.

I used to go to luxury hotel. But I decided to stay due to beautiful Mountain View. It was insane experience in a good way!!!!!! Such a good service and perfect place. 100% satisfied. I would be back !! The owner treated us like close family and friends. I was worried about to go city center by uber or whatever. The shuttle service is just perfect. You don’t need to worry due to distance. Such a beautiful place and service. 100% recommended

My wife and I had wonderful stay at the Casarufolo Paradise in early June! Truly the highlight of our two week trip to Italy. The owner - Gianluigi - is such a genuine and passionate person who will go above and beyond to ensure all of his guests are satisfied. He and his crew are multilingual, know each guest by name, their preferences, and will coordinate/schedule any activities and excursions around the Amalfi Clast you could ever think of. I would honestly go back to Sorrento just to visit Gianluigi. With the B&B being a moderate distance from the town center and up a hill did not provide for any issues because he shuttles guests up and down throughout the day. When you see the views of Sorrento and Mt. Vesuvius across the bay from the beautiful property surrounded by olive and citrus trees, you’ll be glad you chose this place. This is quintessential Italy. Grazie mille, Gianluigi!

Beautiful location on the hills of Sorrento. Magnificent view of Sorrento and Mt Versuvius, surrounded by olive plantations. A tranquil and quiet break from the busy centre of Sorrento. The staff and our host, Gianluigi, were great! Friendly, responsive and helpful, and available to shuttle us back and forth anytime of the day. Breakfast served every morning in the terrace was a real treat, and the view was spectacular. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants an authentic experience of life in the Amalfi Coast - from the coastlands to the hill tops.

It is a real paradise

For the very first moment of arrival we were impressed. Road to the hotel was exciting adventure via narrow mountain road. There was perfect view to the nearby mountains, sea, Sorrento, Naples and Vesuvius. This is the perfect and quiet place to relax after daily sightseeing around the area. Tasty traditional daily breakfast was included and service was professional. Gianluigi is a very friendly and lovely host offering his help and tips to maximize our experience. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and would have liked to stay even longer if we would have had more time.

This was an amazing experience. The best part was the host Gianluigi. He went out of his way at every turn to give us rides, make recommendations, serve us breakfast, set up taxi rides. He even gave us a ride an hour away to our next destination. The hotel overlooks the city on a bluff and has a tremendous view. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a true Italy experience.

Hillside retreat in Sorrento

Lovely, relaxing location on the hillside with a great view of Sorrento and the coastline. A bit of a distance from the main piazza, but also away from traffic noise. Comfortable rooms with private balconies. Continental breakfast included. Helpful and friendly hosts.
