The location was close to everything, the train station, the bus stop and restaurants. It was gated, and safe. The room was very comfortable with a balcony and it was clean. I would definitely stay here again if am ever in Sorrento.

The property was central & a short walk to just about anything. Rooms were made up each day which was a surprise & welcomed. The only complaint is that the front room had windows to the entry and so every time someone entered our room would light up (not great at 4am). Suggestion to the owners put dimmer lights in the entry or blackout blinds.

Very unconventional but exciting. Difficult to locate at first but right at the tip of the Main Street. The staff was very accommodating and fun, gave great advice on dining, shopping, and night life. Only downside was the patio door didn’t close but other than that, fantastic!

The host reach out to me really quickly as this stay is an unexpected one. It all worked out very quickly 1 hr. Place felt safe. So close to the heart of the Corsa Italia main strip, laundromat, supermarkets & drink stores. Live saver.

A miserable experience.

The air conditioning was moving air but not cooling. We informed the host the morning after we arrived, but she insisted the a/c was "running". The room was sweltering day and night. We had booked 10 nights, but we were so uncomfortable that we cut our trip short and went home after only 5 days in Sorrento. The room was modern and clean, but the host was not on-site and could only be reached by text and she would not respond for hours. She only came by once during the 5 days we were there. The "breakfast" was at a bar a quarter-mile away. Because of the lack of responsiveness to our uncomfortable room, our trip to Italy was ruined. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND CASA MATILDE.

Alojamiento muy recomendable para visitar Sorrento, a 100 metros de la calle principal y cerca de la playa. El apartamento está muy cuidado y limpio. Destacar la amplia terraza. Experiencia increíble.

great location

Great location to explore Sorrento. Loads of stores nearby to get food and drinks Closing late. Walking distance to the train station (15 min walk) by going through the Main Street. Quite a busy street to walk through with luggages, but manageable. A launderette just next door opened till late. The host (Salvatore) was very friendly and recommended us places to visit and eat.

This is not an ideal place to stay. For the amount that it costs and what this places offers is overpriced. It’s worse then a motel 6. But if you’re a couple who just want to be at the walking distance to the city and plan to be in the city for a short time then this is okay. Not ideal for kids or ppl with cat allergies.

Perfect and in the centre of Sorrento

Very central place located at the end of the main street of Sorrento. Amazing service, Salvatore from the staff was very friendly and supportive, and did everything possible to make us happy! Considering the money we spent we received a service better than a 5 stars hotel also finding a solution to park our car for free which is usually a big issue in Sorrento. I will definitely choose Casa Matilde again for next time, especially knowing most of the hotels there where I have been and definitely didn't offer same comforts.

It is a simple flat in a good location. Well priced and easy to walk into town. Would not recommend if you had children or wanted a romantic getaway. But if you want to easily walk into town in 3 mins then it is good. The shower is the one big negative.

Rent, nytt ställe. Beläget i ett bostadshus, ett litet ställe med 3 rum. Trevlig ägare som förklarade allt som behövdes för att ta sig runt på egen hand. Gångavstånd till tågstationen och allt annat i Sorrento. Men observera att det är en extra avgift på 30 euro om man skall checka in efter 20.00. Det framkommer inte när man bokar via Hotels.com.
