「The resort is located just outside of the town Cortina, but still very close to all the ski tracks and cable cars, so location wise, for the skiers are very convenient. Unfortunately my wife and I can’t ski at all so we stay there for the view, which is breathtakingly beautiful, the resort is surrounded by mountains and during winter it is like a now castle. 「FIORI Dolomites Experience Hotel is a lovely hotel positioned at the base of the Italian Dolomites in the small town of San Vito di Cadore. We stayed at this hotel a couple of days before and after our hike on the Alta Via 1 trail though the Dolomites. It was the perfect stay as we were able to take public transportation from the town all the way to the start of the hiking trail, and then we were able to hike right back to Cortina d’Ampezzo where we took public transportation back to the hotel....
