Très bon hôtel. Un peu dur à trouver si vous n'avez pas encore votre GPS car manque d'indication sur la route. Autrement le séjour est excellent. Le restaurant SteakHouse est un peu cher comparé aux prix pratiqués à Oman, mais il y en a 2 autres dans l'hôtel (dont le sportbar excellent !)

We had a great family stay at Crowne Plaza Sohar. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was genuinely helpful throughout. Breakfast had good variety, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing with kids. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Incompréhensible

Les notes attribuées à cet hôtel, tout comme ses 5 étoiles, sont incompréhensibles. Les prestations de la chambre n’étaient pas du tout à la hauteur : forte odeur d’humidité dans la chambre, malgré un long temps d’aération pendant le dîner, miroir grossissant cassé, style vieillissant et que dire de la literie, improbable (sensation d’un surmatelas fin sur une planche en bois).

Loved this hotel. Large room. Good views. Although on a main road but windows sound isolated. Clean. Food is very good with excellent variety. Had more than one restaurant so plenty of choice. Reception staff were very welcoming. Thank you.

Family trip for Christmas

The front desk staff were so kind and did not doubt to provide complimentary early check in when they saw our two small kids. Cleanliness of the whole facilities was good. The hotel was offering different amenities during the Christmas season with lot of tourists and local attending them. Gym and pool (temperature controlled) are nice. Breakfast buffet also counts with live station for eggs and pancakes.

Recht schönes "Stadthotel". Nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Man hat sich um unser Anliegen zeitnah bemüht, da unser Safe kaputt war. Zuerst hieß es, dass das Haus ausgebucht sei und für diese Nacht keiner mehr zur Verfügung stehen würde. Um 21.30 kam dann ein Anruf von der Lobby, dass doch einer gefunden werden konnte und dieser wurde dann unverzüglich ausgetauscht. Pool ordentlich und Frühstück sehr gut. Leider haben wir erst am letzten Tag festgestellt, dass man auch noch weitere Sachen hätte bestellen können, die nicht am Buffett waren. Sogar die Sauna ist für so ein Land brauchbar. Kleiner Nachteil: kein Strandhotel. Somit muss man an den Public Beach, wo jedoch recht viel Plastikmüll rumliegt. Alles in allem haben wir uns im Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt.
