"Great place to stay, very close to food trucks, restaurants, shops and the lake front. Staff were all friendly, you have use of a sitting room and a dining room. I had breakfast, for $20 a good serve of scrambled eggs with delicious bacon and a continental breakfast included. On-site parking included "

"Great hotel in a great location ( easy to walk to town) and good price."

"Convenient location in the middle of town, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the lake. Room was a bit dated and on the smaller side - it felt quite cramped with two suitcases. We could hear noise through the walls but fortunately our neighbours didn't stay up late. The Wi-Fi was also weak and disconnected frequently. With a few upgrades, the motel could be quite nice."

"We arrived late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and had a difficult time getting into our room. No one was in the office and it was closed, so we had to knock on the door until someone came. They seemed very annoyed, but told us that our key was already in our room and the room was unlocked. We didn’t love that the room was accessible to anyone before we got there. The place itself was good. There was milk in the fridge and a couple of cookies. No frills place but it got the job done just fine!"

"Super clean room. Washing machine and dryer was present in the room so it’s very convenient to do laundry. Water pressure of shower and temperature was out of this world, best shower I have taken in New Zealand. Will definitely come back to stay if ever in Wanaka."
