No very impressed

We used the hotel for an overnight stay after a wedding in Windsor. We arrived late, as we couldn't check in early. We were shown to a room in one of the buildings that was being renovated. We were told the hotel was being upgraded when we checked in , a forewarning may have been helpful though The room was clean but 'tired'. My daughter and I got changed for bed then we realised that none of the plug sockets were working. We tried to get through to reception for about half an hour. We rang Hotels com to ask them to help - the 'gentleman' we spoke to was very condescending and rather rude. We had no other booking details and he refused to help. We finally got through to reception, the young girl came over checked the sockets and said we'd have to move room. We moved next door -in our night clothes - to another room. We had a good night's sleep, although the room was cold The following morning my daughter was in the shower when there was a power cut. No windows in the bathroom, so she was rather worried she may fall/slip. Between then and when we checked out there were approximately four more power cuts. When we checked out we complained and was basically brushed off. Now I know they need to renovate but think we should have been aware before booking. The picture used is a big grand house, but the hotel is actually round the back, in what I would assume was the out buildings

WORST HOTEL EVER

Well where do i start......... Looks ok from the outside until you get up close. Couldn't believe what i saw as we opened the main doors. I thought it had been bombed by the Russians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never have i ever stayed somewhere so awful. Rooms were ok, shower didn't work properly our view from the window was a Skip & a Porta cabin, random people walking past the window. When we got back to reception that night, they were drying wet clothes or pillow cases on the sofas with a portable heater. There was cables hanging from holes in the ceilings, random old sofas scattered down bombed hall ways.We asked to have our bags taken to our rooms as we were too early for check in, we was promised this would happen, when we got back at midnight our bags were left un supervised behind what i think was reception!! Please don't be fooled by the Photos on their website, it is the complete opposite. I'm still actually in shock by what we saw. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER.

Worst hotel ever.

My worst experience in a hotel! The guy on reception told me to wait a minute while he finished texting to check me in and was really rude. The first room I went in wasn’t cleaned and had a Sex toy on the floor. The second room was dirty and had flickering lights that wouldn’t stop. I wasn’t very well and when the building work started at 8am it woke me up. Never staying again.

The experience overall was ok the rooms were compact with just the basics no luxuries such as shampoos just one small shower gel and one small soap The light above our bed was broken but still worked but it was reasonably clean Also when we went to restaurant there was no alcohol but didnt realise that it was run by foreigners

Paid for a twin but was assured I hadn’t by receptionist until I showed him my email then to be told they only had doubles. Which for 2 17 stone gentlemen was not ideal but we made the best of a bad situation due to the lateness in the day. Absolutely pathetic service

Beautiful building on beautiful grounds but Staff almost hostile. The room was like sauna and a lot of rubbish outside the window when I opened it. TV didn’t work at all and the Staff suggested I didn’t know how to operate but non of the three offered to help at all. Can’t recommend the ho. Thanks.

Absolute shambles of a hotel which is a real shame because the building is amazing and the potential is unlimited. So we checked in and the receptionist was eating his food and watching a movie, he asked us to wait and 15-20mins later after he finished eaten he finally sorted our room out, this was an absolute disgrace and extremely unprofessional. We got to our room and it was an absolute state, stains on the wall, bathroom mirror and the bedding, wall paper was ripped, bathroom was a mess, the bath was mouldy and had chunks of the plastics missing and to top it off the TV doesn’t work!! The double bed is just two single beds pushed together and it’s extremely uncomfortable. Room 6. I won’t be staying again nor recommending to family and friends. I have taken photos of this room also… I can’t even say as a benefit I had a good nights sleep, because I did not…

We left and went to a different hotel

The place was terrible. As we drove up the drive we thought "Amazing", but once in the hotel found it to be run down and dirty. There was a hallway between the main entrance and the hotel reception which had a rat trap in it. This is an internal corridor. The service was terrible and rude. We had to wait for 15 minutes before any showed up at reception. It was around 5 pm. The rooms were awful. There was no wifi in the rooms despite it being advertised as free, The we paid for 2 rooms which we spent about half an hour in before changing to a decent hotel. No refund despite the problems.

Avoid !!!

Didn’t bother to check in, as when I pulled in to gated area the place just looked filthy- went to reception and even before I spoke to anyone, I left as the place was just unbelievable in a mess.

good for overnight business stay

Small room with basic facilities, however, clean and quiet and with en-suite - plenty of hot water - tea and coffee facilities in the room - mattress a little old. Overall was fine for an overnight stay. Parking was plentiful on site. Price very reasonable. On site parking and price were the reasons I chose this hotel.
