good for overnight business stay

Small room with basic facilities, however, clean and quiet and with en-suite - plenty of hot water - tea and coffee facilities in the room - mattress a little old. Overall was fine for an overnight stay. Parking was plentiful on site. Price very reasonable. On site parking and price were the reasons I chose this hotel.

The experience overall was ok the rooms were compact with just the basics no luxuries such as shampoos just one small shower gel and one small soap The light above our bed was broken but still worked but it was reasonably clean Also when we went to restaurant there was no alcohol but didnt realise that it was run by foreigners

The staff were nice and friendly, the room was lovely and clean, a few little things like only 1 towel, no bath mat, only 1 sachet of coffee and no remote control for the tv. They are refurbishing so I’m sure everything will be ready soon, convenient for town centre and airport

It shouldn't be named after the manor as it has nothing to do with it. The rooms are average I would give it 3 stars, nowhere near 4 star. Breakfast is lacklustre, no fried eggs, no Omelette no Bacon no Beans. This is not an English Breakfast

At 11am after receiving confirmation from hotel the day before. I received a phone call to say my booking had been cancelled due to hotel renovations and they had no other rooms. If they were doing renovations surely the hotel knew the day before sending confirmation that work was being carried out. Awaited refund and I think I should have compensation as I had to search and book another hotel costing a lot more.

Lovely old stately home, set in the park (the old estates land). However there is old furniture and items dumped all around the external and disused parts of the property. e.g. a marquee falling apart full of furniture in what would be a nice garden. Stained carpets in corridors smelling of damp. Also note this is the first hotel I have ever been to that does not provide ANY form of breakfast facility.

Beautiful building on beautiful grounds but Staff almost hostile. The room was like sauna and a lot of rubbish outside the window when I opened it. TV didn’t work at all and the Staff suggested I didn’t know how to operate but non of the three offered to help at all. Can’t recommend the ho. Thanks.

The property is set in an ok area, the reception take photocopies of your ID when you arrive, they take a £50 “deposit” but I’m still waiting on this to get returned, we had to move rooms as the first room had black mould growing on the windows, and then the second room was stuck at 27degrees with no working air conditioning! Every time we went to reception the staff were sat there taking calls on their mobile and seems disinterested

Worst hotel ever.

My worst experience in a hotel! The guy on reception told me to wait a minute while he finished texting to check me in and was really rude. The first room I went in wasn’t cleaned and had a Sex toy on the floor. The second room was dirty and had flickering lights that wouldn’t stop. I wasn’t very well and when the building work started at 8am it woke me up. Never staying again.

Paid for a twin but was assured I hadn’t by receptionist until I showed him my email then to be told they only had doubles. Which for 2 17 stone gentlemen was not ideal but we made the best of a bad situation due to the lateness in the day. Absolutely pathetic service

There was no iron. Extremely suffocating room. Air conditioning did not work. Windows could not be opened. Standard of upkeep was poor. Door took several tries to open and needed reception assistance. Not worth £45

No very impressed

We used the hotel for an overnight stay after a wedding in Windsor. We arrived late, as we couldn't check in early. We were shown to a room in one of the buildings that was being renovated. We were told the hotel was being upgraded when we checked in , a forewarning may have been helpful though The room was clean but 'tired'. My daughter and I got changed for bed then we realised that none of the plug sockets were working. We tried to get through to reception for about half an hour. We rang Hotels com to ask them to help - the 'gentleman' we spoke to was very condescending and rather rude. We had no other booking details and he refused to help. We finally got through to reception, the young girl came over checked the sockets and said we'd have to move room. We moved next door -in our night clothes - to another room. We had a good night's sleep, although the room was cold The following morning my daughter was in the shower when there was a power cut. No windows in the bathroom, so she was rather worried she may fall/slip. Between then and when we checked out there were approximately four more power cuts. When we checked out we complained and was basically brushed off. Now I know they need to renovate but think we should have been aware before booking. The picture used is a big grand house, but the hotel is actually round the back, in what I would assume was the out buildings
