It is a locally owned hotel and the staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Demetrios and Gianna and the entire staff were extremely helpful in organizing a large family dinner for 25 and everyone was impressed with the food, the location and staff. We highly recommend the hotel!"

"Charming central Kalamata hotel in a modernized and comfortable late 19th Century mansion. The hosts, George and Effi, are charming and helpful with dinner reservations, and local information. We will be back. Note- there isn't an elevator here but George is ever helpful with hauling the luggage up the stairs."

A special shoutout to Amanda at the front desk—she is absolute perfection and the true crown jewel of top-notch service. The fact that she recognizes and warmly welcomes us back year after year makes each return feel like coming home. Thank you to the entire staff for keeping up such fantastic service. "I have no complaints. I am a professional traveler. I would say that I travel a lot. Everything was above par and the food especially amazing breakfast. Amazing staff in the dining room decorated lovely maintained well extremely clean beautiful pool area. Also great staff by the pool would definitely go back again."

"We had a lovely stay & loved the location. Our room was clean, comfortable with a good size bathroom & shower. It had a small balcony with a partial sea view and it was nice sitting outside in the evening listening to live music in the restaurant below (not every night). The walk to the city centre & the old town was about 30-35 minutes, but if you didn’t feel like walking there’s a taxi stand nearby which cost 4 euro. Lots of waterfront restaurants to select from in the evening. It’s not a brand new building but it’s very well maintained and the staff were lovely & very helpful especially Savvina."

"Although I am not a friend of Sparta's lack of proximity to sea and oppressive heat, this hotel provided a welcome relief. The room was huge, could easily accommodate 6 people we were 4 Staff was very helpful, breakfast was too generous, we had to ask them to tone it down as there was too much food brought to the table. Everything was delicious. Pool and surroundings were spectacular. Nights saw us turn off the air conditioner and open a window (in July!!!) We are definitely coming back"

"My stay at this impressive luxury hotel was truly exceptional. The room was beautifully appointed, and the luxurious mattress made for the best, most restorative sleep. Stepping out onto the terrace balcony was a daily joy — it overlooked the sparkling pools and, further out, the line of gleaming yachts resting in Kalamata Bay. It felt like a private postcard view. The bathroom was stocked with high‑quality toiletries, a small detail that added to the overall sense of comfort and care. On days when the heat made outdoor exercise impossible, the hotel’s well‑equipped gym was perfect. Afterwards, I indulged in some pampering at the spa, which was the ideal way to unwind. Every part of my stay felt thoughtful, relaxing, and wonderfully refined. A truly memorable experience."
