"This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. "Great location, central to shops, restaurants & cafes. Staff are friendly & helpful. Hotel was clean & tidy. The street parking we thought was going to be an issue but we were pleasantly surprised. Our only complaint was our room was tiny and the bathroom was even smaller. Would still recommend the hotel and would stay in Sparta again, safe & friendly atmosphere."
