It is in a beautiful setting near the Dales. We had the lowest cost room but I wasn’t impressed with the comfort of the beds. Poorly ventilated room on a rare hot day.

The staff were very hardworking, always cheerful and friendly, breakfast and restaurant meals were brilliant with plenty to eat, the building is in need of a bit of refurbishment but overall it is clean and very well run. We would be happy to return if in the area.

Very average hotel/pub with reasonable pub food. Breakfast could have more variety if you didn’t want a full English you were left with toast and cornflakes! Room big and big bathroom good shower, bath, 2 sinks but the taps on one were very loose. Bed not very comfy and the decor needed some TLC as did the blinds at the bedroom window! Wouldn’t hurry back.
