The location is perfect, right in the center of Skien with walking distance to all facilities. The hotel is also beautifully situated right next to the harbour. Cozy hotel, good breakfast and friendly and pleasant staff.

A refreshing surprise at Thon Hotel Høyer From the moment we arrived, the stay felt different. The welcome at reception was genuinely exceptional, warm, attentive, and effortlessly helpful. We immediately felt seen and taken care of, which set the tone for everything that followed. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with everything in perfect order. Simple, functional, and exactly what you want after a long day. I’ve honestly had mostly mediocre or negative experiences with Thon Hotels before, but this property stands out in the best possible way. It feels more personal, more professional. Parking outside was a bit tricky and ideally should be complimentary, but that’s a small detail. All in all, a very positive surprise and a hotel I’d happily return to.

The room was nice, my only thing is I wish they had bath tubs, due to Restless legs. But was the only Thon hotel that offered wash clothes. Nothing like being able to wash your face evening and morning. The breakfast were great. one other major thing was carry Coke products

Perfekt ophold, til trods for den korte længde. Mødt af imødekommende personale, fine lokaler og god restaurant, både morgen og aften. Eneste minus er mængden af parkering ved sen ankomst. Jeg kommer igen!
