"I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel, as several issues added up to a poor experience. First, the check-in process was frustrating. The front desk repeatedly assigned uncleaned rooms—not just to my family, but to at least three guests ahead of us as well. This suggests a lack of coordination and quality control. While the rooms themselves are spacious, there are many maintenance issues that shouldn’t be overlooked. For example, our room door wouldn’t close properly and could easily be pushed open, which is a serious security concern. In addition, one of the shower gel dispensers was broken and unusable. Housekeeping was also problematic. If you leave the “Do Not Disturb” sign on past 9 a.m., even if you remove it later, your room will not be serviced at all for the day. This policy was not clearly communicated and is quite inconvenient. Overall, these issues add up, and the hotel does not meet the standards I would expect from a 3-star property. "

After 3 attempts at a clean room, we left and booked another hotel near by. We did leave something behind and when we returned to get it, the two people who met us were very rude. After we contacted Expedia regarding a refund since the remote “employee” said the hotel was not responsible for a refund. The Expedia representative said they needed to contact the hotel and wanted the remote kiosk person’s name which she would only give her first name and no other information. "

"Hot tub and pool smelled strongly of chlorine. Hit tub and pool hours are less than ideal. AC in the room didn’t sound great. Breakfast was the same both days (pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links). It was ok, but nothing to write home about. The blueberry syrup was good!"

"The room was nice, but hotel service was lacking. There is an additional $36 resort fee at the hotel-which includes limited access to the spa between 7:30-8:30 in the morning. Hot yoga is also included in the fee and was amazing. I would recommend staying at Mirbeau over this resort."
