Perfect Stay in Lake Garda

Residence Nuove Terme was the perfect location for our stay in Lake Garda, conveniently located next to amazing restaurants, bus services, and only a short bus ride or leisurely walk to Sirmione old town and peninsula. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and was spotlessly clean. Flávio and team are absolutely amazing, but special thanks has to go to Flávio as his personal touch for his guests is second to none! Many thanks and we will definitely be back!

For those who drive and want to spend a few days exploring the area, this hotel is a great option. The hotel offers a plenty of free parking and is conveniently located just outside the tourist locations. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen includes all the necessary accessories. A large grocery store is literally 2 minutes away. The hotel manager, Flavio, is incredibly accommodating and will provide you a ton of helpful information and responses to all of your queries.

Beyond expectations: Clean, kitchenette with everything, great pool, comfortable beds, close to Garda Lake and last but not least free bikes to rent. The host made everything easy for us, always attentive and helpful. Got the Gardaland tickets from him for a good price. Hopefully we will revisit soon.

This place is the whole package

A great apartment complex outside the busier area of Sirmione, with a supermarket right outside, a pool, a parking arrangment and free rental bikes. The room had 1 bedroom, a bathroom, a living room with a kitchen, and a small yard piece. Room was very well equipped and nothing was missing. Owner was gracious towards us and offered recommendations and directions in the town and the vicinity. Finally, while Sirmione is famous for the rich castle area, being just outside it was perfect, right outside the noise and rumble of tourists, but still close to the main street with reachable restaurants (and worst case? we took the bike!).

Il Residence Nuove Terme è un posto carino dove soggiornare per godersi Sirmione ed essere a poca distanza dal centro storico, ma allo stesso tempo esser ein uan zona tranquilla con facile parcheggio. Flavio è stato gentilissimo e disponibile e l'appartamento era pulito, ben sistemato, dotato di tutti gli accessori necessari e utensili da cucina. Unico appunto è che il materasso non era secondo me comodissimo, ma ovviamente è anche una questione soggettiva. In generale, molto consigliato :)

Great personal owned and served by Flavio. Very nice location with dedicated parking, away just 7 minutes of bicycle ride from center of Sirimione . Supermarket 1 minute walk and full facility inside the room. The only thing that bothered was mosquitos all over and you have to keep everything closed to enable yourself avoid those "busters" Entire Sirimone is tiny so dont look for locarion in the old city where value for monet is to be considered.

Vår familie (to voksne og to barn på hhv. 11 og 8 år) hadde to fantastiske uker her! Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom vert, store og praktiske leiligheter og vaskere som gjorde «det lille ekstra». Perfekt beliggenhet for å utforske området. Rolige omgivelser. Vi kjørte til Venezia og Bologna på under 2t, vi gikk til gamlebyen i Sirmione (3,5 km) eller tok rutebuss til festningen. Vi kjørte til en lokal strand (tips fra vert) 15 min unna, og syklet til Pesceria for lunsj. Kort vei også til fjellandsbyer for en ettermiddag- feks Borghetto. Butikk for basisvarer rett over gaten, og 15 min å kjøre til en med større utvalg. Vi likte å bo så selvstendig som i leilighetene, parkeringen og samtidig ha en vert som var tilgjengelig og svært hyggelig, glad i barn og hjelpsom! Anbefales!

A great place to stay when visiting Sirmione

Residence Nuove Terme was a great place to stay for a visit to the Sirmione peninsula on Italy's Lake Garda. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with pots/pans and dishes, and the little garden patio attached to the room, a great place for a private outdoor meal (complete with a red and white checked tablecloth). Flavio at the front desk was extremely friendly, always willing to pour guests a cup of expresso, and was very helpful in all respects including having a taxi waiting for us at checkout on an early Sunday morning. The Residence is located on the mainland at the base of the peninsula, which although not in the thick of the tourist attractions in Sirmione (which is good because it was quiet), was nevertheless just across the street from the gateway to the peninsula and the lake and within about a 2 kilometer or so walk to the old town at the tip of the peninsula. The residence is a fairly significant distance from the Desenzano train station (3.5 km), so I would plan on taking a taxi if you are arriving by train as we were. In summary, we were extremely happy with our stay at the Residence Nuove Terme and Flavio and his staff should be applauded for making our stay at the Residence a very pleasant experience. PS, Flavio has bikes on hand that visitors can use for no charge....an added bonus
