The hotel first gave us a very bad room with odor and dust and stains in the couch. Once complaint the Asst manager Priscilla was very attentive along with her front office subordinate and offered an executive room. Thank you very much for your service. The hotel should upgrade or tidy up the normal rooms !

The Royal Hotel is very nice place to stay with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and excellent facilities. It is just a short walk from Novena MRT which makes it convenient for travelling to all parts of Singapore. The Hotel is really good value for money, compared to others in a similar price bracket and we are looking forward to our next stay in February, when we will be travelling back home to the UK.

On rge whole, the building was clean. Front desk staff were polite & friendly. However the hotel is old, room toilet was in a mess with cleaning work half done & aircon not working properly, quiet warm & not adjustable. I would notcwant to go back to this hotel again, will try newer holtels.

Air con in our room was terrible. A family room for two adults and two children (8 and 11) only includes a double and a single bed. Room was outdated and rusty. We booked and pre-paid through Expedia, but they couldn't find our reservation. Hotel is very conveniently located between two MRT stations and there is a bus stop just outside.
