We had a great welcome when we arrived. The view from our room of the castle was stunning both in the sunshine and when lit at night. Room comfortable, enjoyable swim in the pool and great breakfast. Nothing to fault.

Great place to stay within walking distance of the Castle and lots of sites, restaurants, and a good grocery store. The breakfast was great and the parking was easy.

Lovely hotel in Silves

Loved this hotel it was situated in a perfect location overlooking the castle. Fantastic choice of breakfast on the terrace or inside. Room was great, lots of hot water and storage. The swimming pool area was spotless and pool cleaned every morning, lots of sun beds and areas to sit. Small bar with nice staff. Silves is a small beautiful village and this hotel is perfect choice for a 2-3 days. Thoroughly recommended.

Great hotel that never fails to disappoint

This is our 10th year of returning to Hotel Colina Dos Mouros and it never fails to disappoint. Staff are always so friendly and accommodating, rooms are cleaned daily without fail. Good selection for breakfast. Castle view room is beautiful.

Nice budget hotel away from the crowds along the beaches but within a 20 minute drive. Room was quiet, nice view of the castle, breakfast was adequate. The receptionist was very dull, not very friendly or welcoming.

A gem in Silves

Having stayed at this hotel many times, we know exactly what to exoect. This time we had a room with a view overlooking the pool and across to the town. It may not be the the top end of hotels, but we love it. Pleasant breakfast, which if you so wished you could wat outside on the terrace. Just a short walk into Silves, with its many excellent restaurants. The grounds are beautifully kept.
