Very bad customer service and manager or owner. Whoever the older lady was had the weird eyes nicest way I can put it. She is a very rude bad word she come running out of the hotel room at 10 AM long story short she made me pay for my 13-year-old son who was tall with a small massage because she was 100% sure he was a grown man and me being eight hours away from home. I had no birth records to prove he was a child got woke up at 2 AM with bedbugs bites which I am in talks with attorney about this also my air conditioner barely worked. The room stayed 78° the entire time we were there and it was almost 90 in Dexter. The shower hardly had any hot water and they allowed for somebody to be cooking in the fire alarm went off screaming at night when I went to front desk they said oh it’s OK. It’s just somebody cooking like it was OK that in the middle of the night someone’s cooking waking up other guests absolutely terrible experience. Never will. I stay here again and I did stay there quite often when my mother was first diagnosed with cancer, but during that time I was hardly ever at the hotel. The hotel was pretty much somewhere for me just to store my stuff why I was at the hospital step in and sleep for a couple hours and back out never had an actual full stay until this past time and never again will i again.

I used to stay here all the time when my mom was first diagnosed with cancer, I didn’t spend much time at the hotel the time that I did spend there it was ok. I went there recently, and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had the lady that manages it or the owner whatever she’s the one that has weird eyes nicest way I can put it she is a complete bad word. I always stayed in the two bedroom that sleeps five and again I stayed in that same room and she has the audacity to come outside as we pulled back in from getting coffee at 10 AM to come and say you have to pay for another person staying in your room. I’ve already called the cops and took pictures of your truck and I clearly said hold on. There’s only three kids and me and my husband that is five she said yes but the other adult in the room (14 year old) it has to be paid for I said absolutely not. He is my child. He is not a grown man I pretty much had no other choice to do anything else or go anywhere because I’ve already paid for my complete stay for the five days. I was gonna be in Dexter and she was not gonna give me a refund so I had to pay an extra $15 per day for my 13-year-old son that was turning 14 April 2 because she was 100% sure that he was adult because he had a small mustache me being 8 hours away. I didn’t have my son’s birth records to prove he’s a child so I had to pay. We got woke up at 2 AM being ate up by bedbugs. They come in and lay some powder down that was it and our shower had no hot water.

I’ve been here the past 3 nights I’ve always felt safe, room was clean, beds were clean. The owners each night let me have outside access due to me traveling by bicycle. I have no complaints, the staff actually went out of their way to help me.

Terrible

First the room we get into the microwave doesn’t work. The 2nd night there we got moved to another room. That room was ok but in neither room did we have hot water. The breakfast was terrible. Only choice in food is waffles, chocolate donuts and cereal. They had no hot water in there either so anyone wanting coffee had to have cold and heat in that microwave. Also we get there and they have a sign up pool closed for season. It didn’t mention that online when I reserved it. I would Not recommend going to this hotel
