Loads of mosquitoes and other bugs at all times!!!

Run away!! Unless you like being constantly surrounded by endless creatures of the jungle penetrating through the "walls" (made of leaves) and the damaged mosquito net... After a sleepless night of mosquito bites and flying ants, we checked out, though we already paid for 2 more nights. We couldn't bare the thought of staying in this bug infested place any longer. The reception people couldn't seem to care less about it... Just don't book this place!

La vue depuis les bungalows surplombant le village est le seul point positif de cet établissement. Les bungalows sur pilotis sont très sommaires, sales et mal entretenus. Les moustiquaires sont pleines de trous pour la plus grande joie des moustiques. Salle de bains sans lavabo et siège de toilettes cassé. Le ménage n'ayant pas été fait au bout de 2 jours, nous avons laissé le cadenas de la porte à la réception en demandant que le ménage soit fait. Le responsable nous a répondu "yes, yes", mais sans résultat 2 jours plus tard. Personnel très peu efficace et uniquement intéressé par le profit et la vente d'excursions en tout genre. Rapport qualité/prix consternant.

there are so many gaps between the floor boards and mosquitoes and moths can get into the room so easily. there are mosquito nets over the beds but with holes so that you can enjoy getting bitten by them! the bungalow has the dirtiest bathroom i’ve ever seen in my life.

It was very, very basic with nothing fancy but in a good central location. We were here during low season so our bungalow didn't pick up loud noise or anything so we were well rested. Wifi was down during our entire stay (they recommended a restaurant next door with good food and wifi), but staff was very helpful with helping us arrange a private boat to another part of the island even when I thought the poor weather would be troublesome.

Basic bungalow, looks nice outside, but nothing too fancy inside. Not on the beach, up in the hillside, but that’s quiet good because bars at the beach are noisy at night. Don’t believe maps.me it is not middle of jungle! Reseption is on the beach!

Bra i sin helhet. En del av personalen i receptionen var mest intresserad av att sälja olika boat trips istället för att svara på andra frågor medan en annan kille var så hjälpfull. Förvänta dig inget Wifi i alla bungalows. Bra läge att utgå från. Ligger precis vid piren med båtarna till fastlandet. Finns finare stränder med gångavstånd att bada på.

We stayed in a budget bungalow. Overall we were happy, the service was good. The room was pretty basic and the mosquito net was definitely needed.

Overpriced! Choose something else.

We paid almost 50€ for a poor bungalow. Super basic and wore-down/things broken. It would have been fine for 1/3 of the price. No hot water and almost no water pressure, dirty surroundings, noisy, not very helpful staff..

Basic but brilliant

Basic but brilliant bungalow stay. Remember this is an island in the middle of absolute nowhere. Don't come expecting the Ritz. Basic and simple which is how it should be in a remote location such as this. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful - always keen to say hello.

Staff is helpful. We got one of the bungalows up the hill with a nice view. Small balcony with a hammock was most appriciated. Some noise from the bars, but much less than the bungalows near the beach.The room have a small bathroom with toilet and shower. Cold water with low pressure, but it works. The room appears clean, and the sheets are changed when you ask for it. Remember that his is a bungalow -so expect bugs. All in all this is an OK place - but you can find cheaper (with probably the same standard) elsewhere in the area.
