Lovely staff and friendly owner. Who drove us to Lion rock early in the morning. Lovely breakfast rotis and eggs followed by toast and butter and jam them fruit and fruit juice. Bungalows were clean and tidy.

Dislikes - No hot water for morning showers, Wi-fi very very weak (almost not working), Not adequate lighting in the room if you are a book reader, towels not changed everyday (Could get if asked - Not Sure), Basic breakfast and same menu everyday (asking for 3rd half fry egg, got reminded only 2 eggs allowed), staff with limited English language skills

Really nice bungalows with very strong AC. The garden has a really nice view of Sigiriya rock. Good breakfast included, they also offer a decent buffet dinner. Sigiriya Rock is about a 15 minute walk, whereas the main village area is a bit further. After visiting Sigiriya in the morning, we decided at the very last minute to catch the train from Habarana station (30 min drive from Sigiriya) to Colombo. We were struggling to contact a tuk-tuk driver with so little notice, so one of the employees offered to drive us in the hotel van, since he was already dropping off staff members in that direction. 10/10 service, very thankful.

Melrose villas is tucked away off the main road but still within walking distance / short tuk tuk ride away from village. Rooms are simple and it may take a while to find right temperature for the shower. But what really stands out is their great service, simple but freshly made meals and view of Sigiriya Rock in the distance.

非常に感じの良いオーナーで対応よく、無料の朝食付きが良かったです。買い物や外食しに行くには遠い場所にあります。宿泊した日が大雨と雷で夜中に電源が落ち、エアコンも電気も点かず携帯電話の灯りで過ごしたのがきつかったです。

Tolle Unterkunft mit mega lion's rock Aussicht

Das Personal ist einfach klasse. So lieb, und hilfsbereit. Sie organisieren auch tolle Ausflüge und helfen bei der Weiterfahrt. Die Lage ist der hammer. Direkter Blick auf den lion's rock beim Frühstück. Was will man mehr. Wir konnten von unserer Terrasse aus direkt bunte Vögel und Affen sehen.

Très pittoresque de se retrouver dans la nature. Un accueil très chaleureux. La chambre est simple mais bien décorée et propre avec une moustiquaire. Dîner excellent et un service exemplaire. Petit déjeuner copieux dehors entourés de petits écureuils. Aucune critique si ce n est un petit frigo serait bienvenu!

Nette Anlage mit schönem Garten. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer im ersten Stock des Neubaus. In den Villas an sich war der Geruch zu seltsam. Bad relativ einfach. Essen in Ordnung
