Comfortable, clean room in a 500 year-old building. The location is in the heart of the beautiful Citadel and is a short walk from pubs, cafes and restaurants. The owner is cheerful, friendly and helpful. Wonderful stay that is a gem in a 5-week European trip. If I’m ever back in Signasora, I will definitely stay at Le Teo.

This hotel is absolutely adorable. The man who runs it is extremely welcoming and the property is clean, cozy, and inviting. It was far nicer than I expected and a great value for the price. The location is just a bit off the town square and right by the scholars stairs, so everything is within a few minutes of walking. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again.

Teo's Celler is amazing, a true fairytale! From the room with the fresco, the gold medal palinca, to Teo himself and his family, they are so welcoming and wonderful. Teo is clearly so proud of what he has here, and with good reason. Mulțumesc!

lovely little place

absolutely delightful little pensione in a delightful little town. Lovely little flower filled courtyard. Spacious comfy room with immaculate bathroom. Pretty much right in the centre but very quiet. The owner is a very civilised fellow who makes wine and spirits which you can try in the cellar. The building is many hundreds of years old but beautifully restored. highly highly recommended.

In all my Romania travels over the years , this was the nicest bed I’ve slept in . Awesome comfort . The rooms and property are wonderful. The host was incredible! An awesome European hotel. The brandy and wine cellar was a treat.

The ambiance of this hotel is outstanding. A homely hotel, I believe only 6 rooms. Beautiful flowers in the courtyard, period furniture in the room, all tasteful and good quality, AND the cellar room (!) for tasting the homemade "Palinca", an excellent Hungarian/Romanian brandy made from a veriaty of fruits. Location is great, quiet, yet only meters away from the main square.

This house is amazing. Two and his family made our family of four feel at home and we loved, loved the place. The history, the charm, the medieval feel of the house and Teo’s cellar transported us back in time yet the room was fully renovated and all the amenities were in place. The location is the best in all of Old Town being just steps from the covered stairway and the clock tower and main square. We loved everything about it-can’t wait to return!!!

Beautiful, convenient little place in the Citadel

The hotel is right in the middle of the citadel area but not at all noisy. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was self service on the balcony- excellent coffee. Teo was welcoming. He makes delicious palincka and wine which he serves in his bar. Would recommend this place wholeheartedly (unless you have problems walking up hill!)

The location is excellent. The host was very happy to meet us and once we got settled he invited us in his cellar to taste his award winning home made brandies. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable. It was visible that he puts lots of effort and love to decorate the hotel and enjoys it. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely book this hotel again.

Amazing old property with a great host

Very beautiful property in the medieval town. We had a deluxe room with it's own entranceway and fridge, plus the owner provided water and beer, plus a free tasting in his bar. The owner was very friendly and helpful and opened the bar specially for us to try his award winning palinka. He also recommended a great restaurant.

This hotel is beyond amazing and the best part of our trip. The host was extremely accommodating and made us feel comfortable at home. He showed us his wine cellar and we were able to sample his homemade wine, which was also just as amazing as the room. The room was meticulous and well taken care of and was 700 years old with the original art still on the wall!!! It was incredible. I would come back just for this hotel and to speak more with Teo about the area and renovations. I feel beyond lucky to have had this opportunity to stay here and I highly recommend this hotel.

Teo is the best host, very warm and welcoming. His hotel is absolutely beautiful with an old world charm you just don't see very often. Nothing cookie-cutter about this hotel. He also has an amazing wine cellar where you may sample some of his award winning wines and palinka. When we left it felt as if I were saying goodbye to an old friend. Do not miss this lovely hotel and lovely host., Teo. You will be glad you gave it a try!!

Wonderful host, worlds best Palinca

Amazing experience at Teo's! Beautiful, centuries old home in wonderful condition situated in the center of the historic village. Teo let us sample his award winning Palinca and we bought a couple to bring home. Very happy to find this place.

Weekend work in Sighisoara...

Very friendly and knowledgeble owner received my colleague and myself and showed us our rooms so we could get comfortable. He then proceeded to show us the 17th century cellars and offered us a few local drinks that he makes himself and have earned him acclaim on foreign shows as well. I spoke English and German with him, and he confirmed he sopke some other languages also.
