Very well run operation by Yami and her family. They treated us like family. I recommend you opt in for the delicious breakfast each morning. Also visit the restaurant close by also run by the family for great food located in a beautiful setting. 15 minute drive to Santa Elena is a good trade off for the peace and quite and authentic Costa Rica experience of this place.

The home was absolutely elegant and beautiful! The property was easily accessible, well kept and aesthetically appealing! The owner Yamileth was such a kind soul, always willing to help with recommendations and offer unparalleled service. She left nothing to be desired and was constantly available. I think my family and I will return soon!

The place is perfectly located, beautiful mountains view with an incredible sunset watching point. It has a great proximity to Santa Elena, Monteverde and all attractions around. Communication with the host is very smooth. Yaloco Chalet is semi-glamping accomodation though (tent door in the main bedroom), it is a bit challenging to rest when you have a light sleep - quite noisy with wind and/ or rain. Other than that it was a nice 2-nights' stay.

Host is incredibly friendly and accessible via WhatsApp. Stayed in the private apartment and was in love with the patio which faces the mountains and sunset. Space is modern. clean, and super cozy. Also stocked with some great coffee and South American wines.

It was a very unique experience. The place was very nice. The only issue we had was how loud it was inside the tent because of the wind that night. If it wasn’t for that, we would have given a five star rating.
