We wanted to visit the Erawan waterfalls and also wanted to stayed on the water, so the raft bungalow fits our need perfectly. There was one problem, the raft bungalow can only accommodate 3 people and we knew this before we booked. Even though we had a party of four, the manager was nice enough to make the situation work. We ended up paying for another person and squeeze everyone into the same bungalow. She speaks pretty good English. We didn't have to use Google translator with her.
We were here during mid-October, so it's the tail end of the rainy season. One of the three nights we stayed, it rain so hard that Erawan National Park was closed the next day. We managed to go there for one whole day.
Our stay included buffet breakfast which was good, especially since there not much food around and there's very limited transportation. The closest 7-Eleven is about a 15 minute walk away. Other food places are about the same distance, but mostly closed during off-season.
For a small fee, the hotel does have a boat that drop us off at Erawan and pick us up at a set time or we can just call the front desk to pick us up anytime.
The facilities are all adequate. The food was good. The pool water was too warm for us, so we swam mostly in the river. I posted a bunch of pictures from October 2019 on Google Map for this hotel.
We had an enjoyable time here and would stay again, if we ever decided to go back to see the waterfall again.
