Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, we also had dinner in the restaurant which was amazing. My only complaint was the people above our studio room where thundering around which was noisy but I’m not 100% sure if that belonged to the hotel as we had to exit the hotel and go round the corner to get to our room (studio 45)」

The room itself is very basic which was fine for our one night stay and we appreciate there is little to be done about the outside noise however the window was broken we had to wedge it shut, this didnt help with the noise volume. 「To start out I want to be clear that this is a lovely little cottage, that had a good amount of space on the ground floor. The staircase is exceptionally steep being an old cottage, they are not easy to navigate with luggage etc. The cottage is on the main road through the area, so you do get a bit of road noise, but it's not a massive issue. The main challenge for me is that the listing on expedia is a completely different location and very misleading. The property is not in Shrewsbury like...

「Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands」
