"While this hotel is older and could use some updating in places, the staff makes up for what the hotel is lacking. They were very accommodating, especially for our large group of friends with lots of kiddos running around. It’s very close to the beach we like to go to so that was the original appeal for booking there. This is our second year there and it did the job. "

"Super friendly hotel staff! Beautiful spacious rooms. We really only had two complaints but honestly it isn’t a reflection on the hotel. 1. The second night we stayed the fire alarm kept going off. It was annoying but again no reflection on the hotel. 2. There was a group of guests that were extremely rude, not just to us but to the hotel staff. Our last two mornings my husband and son went down for breakfast and only came back with coffee ss some of the guests acted as though they had never seen food before so they piled their multiple plates and left nothing for other guests, we had to go out to eat breakfast which wasn’t budgeted but not a big deal. We were appalled the way they spoke to the hotel staff and other guests. We will definitely be coming back again as BH is where I am from and we come back yearly to visit family. "
