「Superb location just a block away from the fames Ipanema beach. Lots of eateries within a few blocks. Metro is right next door which makes getting to Centro real easy even in heavy traffic. Staff was super helpful and cheerful. The room size is what I expect in Ipanema. Wish the bathroom is bit bigger and they should add a hand shower. I missed that after coming back from beach.」

They assisted me to my room and checked in on me multiple times throughout my stay. Great amenities and fantastic breakfast options. I highly recommend and I’ll be back at the Sheraton Grand for my next visit to Rio de Janeiro.」

「I tried to change dates because I booked wrong dates. The staff didn't help I had to go another hotel, I tried to contact the property to change or cancel no help at all. I couldn't be more disappointed.」

「The staff at the hotel were fantastic and assisted us with all our needs. Even though we are English speakers we felt right at home here. The rooms are modern, with excellent views of the city (we could even see Christ the redeemer from our hotel window!). The breakfast buffet was plentiful each morning and provided us a very accessible way to get breakfast with such a busy schedule. We completed our excursions and came home to a clean and tidy room each day. The room also had air conditioning...

The photos shown online did not match the actual property conditions. The place felt disorganized, poorly maintained, and far below expectations.
