Two double Beds means 1 double Bed + 1 single Bed

As per expedia the room I requested( paid) for 2 double beds, but hotel provided 1 double bed and 1 single bed. I was told by hotel Managing director that they are correct and providing correct room, the problem is with Expedia who published wrong information. The MD suggested me to talk to expedia and raise concern with them and not ready to provide any explanation of wrong room description( as per them). He was in a position that , it is completely customer response to identify proper room and have any concerns then it is wrongly published by expedia. Totally amazed with intelligence of hotel staff to prove that "2 Double beds = 1 Double bed + 1 Single bed".

Nice hotel, friendly staff, close to the temple.

I liked my room and the service given to us. I had booked a single room with two beds but we were three adults. The hotel staff accommodated us in a three bed single room at no extra cost. The room was clean and nicely maintained; there was free parking for our vehicle; wifi signal was okay. I will stay here again.

Had visited the hotel while my shirdi trip. The hotel was closer to the temple yet in a serene environment. The Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful in my changed plans and last minute arrangement.

I had been to Shirdi with wife for a short trip and we decided to stay in hotel sai grand castle. Very heart warming managers and very good food. rooms and services were also very good. I would love to recommend it to everyone.

My assumptions went ????

The hotel website told that the hotel is just 2 mins from the temple, but it was about 10 mins from the place to temple. I had taken an AC room, where the AC was ok, but the fan over there was really noisy and created panic whenever we switched it on. The Bed size was told King Sized, and i dont think its that size, its even smaller than the one i have at my home. The restaurant as mentioned was also not maintained properly, to be more precise the last day of my stay, no complimentary breakfast was given... So totally i came with lots of hope and i was pretty much disappointed. The positives, the staff were very good and cordial and i cant blame them, and travel desk was excellent.

Every time u order something they will take some extra time. For e.g if u order for even mineral water they will send their boy outside to get it, till that time you will die of thirst. Pest control is definitely required as u will find cricket insects sounds in the corridor as if u r walking in jungle. services can be improved. I was not satisfied with the stay. I have stayed there two times. on first visit I came to know its a new hotel. Motel I should rather say. Last visit it was still the same but this time insects and poor tine taking service was included in the package.

Not at all Worth staying

The only plus point of this hotel is that "It is quite close to the Temple" and that is all. The room was very small, not cleaned. Water glasses kept were very dirty, had to ask the room service for clean glasses. Air conditioner was not cooling properly. Food quality not upto mark, not worth paying the amount as per menu card rates. Room service was pathetic - it took 45 mins in morning to get just tea and coffee (without snacks) in room, in the end my family had to go down to the restaurant for tea /coffee. The biggest disappointment was - no complimentary breakfast as was mentioned at the time of booking on www.expedia.co.in

Terrible place...AVOID this hotel

Dirty rooms, poor service and filthy kitchen (dare not look at the kitchen...you will not be able to take a bite...i did look by mistake). We took 3 bed ac rooms, double bed rooms would have been better off in some other hotel. Though i am not that finicky about cleanliness, but stay in this hotel has changed my perception in a bad sense.

We had overnight stay at this hotel. It's extremely not recommended. Though the façade and outline appears appealing but inside facilities are sub-standard. The double bed was extremely narrow and two average size adults could hardly lie in. Hot water was unavailable and no room service for food items. Remotely located. Food at the restaurant was over priced and tasteless. Not recommended.

Castle by name, not by nature

We greatly anticipated our stay at the Sai Grand Castle Inn but were left profoundly disappointed. Our two rooms were very dirty, the linen was heavily stained, and the bathrooms had a strong, unpleasant odour and lacked hot water (despite the hotel insisting that hot water was available). The hotel staff were courteous and helpful, however, I simply couldn't recommend this hotel to anybody looking for comfort and cleanliness.
