「The room was not as advertised. The room had a mildew stench, it was very hot, the outside AC unit was leaking, and the bathroom was very hot and had no ventilation and it was the only thing updated in the room. There were dings and dents on the floor and on the furniture. There was also a running water noise coming from a closet near the room door. They also arranged an airport pick up who offered us an island tour. We asked how much upfront and she told us don't worry she would give us a deal....

「We understood that it was not peak vacation time in Barbados, but the resort was empty. The resort did not conduct any activities they had listed for the pool or the beach. 「The first thing to say is how good the staff were. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The location is good, beach is nice and located on the St Lawrence Gap. The Oro restaurant has really good food, the breakfast buffet has a lot of choice and the Italian evening menu has a good selection too (although not that Italian, ie no Spaghetti Bolognese, which disappointed my daughter).
