Cosy room, lovely outlook to grazing wallabies and the lake, warm from a good heater, comfortable bed, well stocked for breakfast, perfect for an overnight stay as we travelled across Tasmania from the west to the east coast.

When we arrived at Blue Lake Lodge no one was there and the place was all locked up. Tried to phone the lodge but rang out to a full answering machine. So clearly something wrong with their booking system.

Fantastic " home away from home " experience
Good location only 30 min drive from Lake St Clair visitor center , 5 min drive to nearby cafe The Hungry Wombat Cafe where we had our lunch. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Good stay in Hobart
Good location, spacious and clean room, friendly staff. 10 minutes walk to restaurants and supermarket. Please inform the staff to reserve you parking slot as the occupancy is really high.

The good things are the motel is pretty close to the supermarkets and a amazing italian restaurant, just a few minutes walking distance.
