Fine for passing through briefly.

The hotel itself is nice enough - a bit grandiose - but the decor is dated (gold, marble, crystal etc). I had no major problems with the hotel or the staff once I was there - but in the lead up to my arrival - they did not reply to any of my emails. And the description says there is a free round trip airport shuttle, but when I called them, they said this doesn't exist, but then when I arrived, it seemed it does exist - but I could not book it because it has to be done in advance (it's still not clear to me if it exists). If they replied to my emails at all, I could have arranged things in time. The room was large but could use some extra seats - when we ordered room service there was just one chair to use to eat at the desk... not great. However, the food quality of the room service was good. The bed was extremely large, so, some people may life that too. Overall, the stay was a good overall value (since the cost was low, and I just needed one night) - but the service was pretty poor since I could not reach anyone by emailing them through hotel.com and when I called the communication was difficult. The hotel may have been impressive 20 years ago but now is just kind of an old formerly high class hotel. It's fine if you want somewhere near PVG for 1-2 nights.

Amazing, but...

It is amazing hotel. Everything is just amazing. Very Spacious Room, Comfort and Clean Bed, Nice Airconditioner, Tasty Breakfast, Even motorized curtain and screen. Only two things I feel sorry are water pressure is weak for shower. and Shower booth is too small. Bathroom is big, so they have a nice bath tub, but shower booth is very small. :)

Mycket bra hotell med avisdes läge.

Mycket frächt hotell som ligger bra till om man har ärende i området, annars ligger det för långt från Shanghai downtown för att vara bra. en del enklare matalternativ utanför hotellet och man håller på och öppnar ett köpcentrum som såg ut att vara nästan klart (Maj 2019). 5-10 minuters gångväg till T-banan som går till flygplatsen (Pudong) och in till till stan.

We are gray Scandinavia. We arrived at night. There was no extra bed for our child though we booked this. we were poorly treated. Our identity with passports and visas was more important than the welcome. The hotel was luxurious and comfortable.
