「Very comfortable and clean, super friendly, helpful staff. A little deceiving from the advert that the shower was inside the pod. Walk across to the shower block wasn’t what we expected. Kettle provided but no cups to drink from. 」

「12 bedrooms in an historical building next to the River Ouse with plenty of car parking and within easy walking distance of rail and bus stations and the town centre. Locally the Bank House is known for its restaurant, which did not disappoint. A lovely room also. The electric shower was slow to work and difficult to control, but that was my only complaint. I'd stay there again.」

「As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate...

「Absolutely loved this place it was so quirky full of history and antiques breakfast was good and hosts were lovely And friendly we will definitely return ..no matter where you look. There was something of interest with an antique shop in the yard too ..not for someone looking for a modern hotel though walking distance to a nice village pub with good food ..highly recommend this place 」

「The Hosts Jude & Karl make you very welcome . I was travelling alone and booked a single room which was compact but just right for me on this trip . Tea & Coffee facilities are provided as well as shower gel , soap and shampoo . You can also park at the property . Breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. The property also has a beautiful little garden at the back which I enjoyed sitting in . Within walking distance to the Town through a lovely park where you will find a number of pubs,bars...
