We had an exceptional experience, the owners are fabulous people, all of the staff go out of their way to ensure you are happy and have everything you need. The room was very spacious, highly recommend.

A beautiful and unique property where the chalets are private by being far away from each other. With no lights around, the starts at night were fantastic. The staff were amazing and the food at their restaurant was one of the best I had in Namibia. We wish we stayed for two nights instead of just one. Highly recommend.

Really loved the decorations around the main area, the free unlimited wifi, and the free breakfast. However, there was no power in the chalets, the office did not offer and guided tours of the area (and wouldn't help us find a tour in the area). Additionally, we were charged twice for a tire fix that was not actually fixed. Honestly we felt a little uneasy dealing with the staff and like they were pressuring to eat dinner, asking us to decide very early in advance.

Die Lodge war super gelegen und ein Highlight 😄 Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, super Frühstück und auch das Dinner war hervorragend. Diese „etwas andere Farm“ ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Unglaublich nettes Personal und Inhaber. Abendessen war sehr gut und liebevoll angerichtet. Die Lodges sind gut und vermitteln einen Hauch von Abenteuer. Sie liegen wirklich einsam. Wir waren als Familie da und würden immer wieder hinfahren!

砂漠を満喫できる所です。

プライベートのトレッキングコースにはキバーツリーも生息し、自然を満喫できる。オーナーの女性がいろんな案内までしてくれて、サービスも良かった。砂漠に来ているのだから仕方ないけど、テレビや携帯の電波は届かず、部屋にコンセントが無いのが困った。

Lovely views from our room of the escarpment and river bed - lots of beautiful birdsong and butterflies to watch among the sunrise and sunsets. Rooms are rustic but a good size. Gorgeous food prepared by the lodge and loved the setting including lovely pool and iron art!

Very unfriendly host

PROS: - Nice place for stargazing. - Breakfast was made in advance because of early departure. CONS - Arrived at 6:30 pm and asked if we could have dinner at the property (would of course pay for it). Request was met with sighs and rolling eyes (due to time(???)), but was possible (why not a friendlier approach then?). - The place preferred cash over card payments due to bad internet connection (although wifi was quite fast actually at 5mbps) but card payments were possible. - No airconditioning but also no fan was provided so the lodge was very very very hot. - Shared our upcomping plans in the area and asked for tips (it was our second day in Namibia), but the host was not helpful at all and instead wanted to express her concerns about our plans (and our lack of fridge in the car where we could keep the packed breakfast cool?).

Ankommen und wohlfühlen! Beeindruckende Metallkunst auf dem Gelände, Es gibt viel zu bestaunen. Das sollte man gesehen haben! Alles mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet auch Poobereichl, Bar, Restaurant, .... usw. Sehr nette Gastgeber und geschultes Personal. Das Essen geschmacklich für alle Sinne ausgezeichnet. Die Unterkunft sehr sauber, schön und ruhig. Toll!!!

Gostei da minha cabaninha, só que teria gostado mais se houvesse ar condicionado ou, pelo menos, um ventilador grande. A água do chuveiro é quentinha e abundante, garantindo um bom banho. No quarto não há chaleira elétrica, porém o lodge disponibiliza uma garrafa térmica com água quente. Quem precisa sair cedo ( o café da manhã é a partir das 07 horas), ganha um lanchinho para viagem cheio de gostosuras ( é só avisar no dia anterior). As estradas são ruins, algumas ruins demais, por isso indico o aluguel de um carro 4x4. Levem repelente e inseticida.

Um lugar calmo e agradável para relaxar

O local é grande, afastado de tudo, por isso bem silencioso. Os chalés são confortáveis, porém senti falta de ar condicionado ou, pelo menos, de um ventilador ( durante o dia e início da noite, faz muito calor). O chuveiro é bom, com água em abundância e quentinha. Como não há chaleira elétrica no quarto, é disponibilizado ao hóspede, uma garrafa térmica com água quente para preparar chá e café. Em razão de sair muito cedo, não tomei o café da manhã, trocando-o pelo delicioso lanchinho para viagem ( recomendo ) No lodge, há muitas obras de arte feitas de ferro e sucata e, coincidência, ou não, tive dois pneus furados por prego e parafuso. A sorte foi que, como um furo se deu na chegada e outro, na saída, o pneu foi consertado na borracharia existente no lodge. As estradas em torno do lodge estão horríveis, aliás, as que ligam Walvis Bay a Sesriem também estão, razão pela qual recomendo um carro com tração 4x4 ( nosso carro era um SUV simples e sofremos muito).
