「This was the highlight of our stay in Portugal. The owners of the property (Marta and Iker) are fabulous hosts. They made us feel completely at home. As both of them have experience in the restaurant trade, breakfast (which is included) and snacks were exemplary. They make their own jams/preserves and will even cook you a three course meal if you wish. 「If you’re driving watch out the hotel is easy to miss, it’s on your right hand side as you go up the steep narrow street. If possible turn into the side road just before the hotel and park near the junction. The hotel car park is not far from there. Lovely quiet situation but not far from the town centre.
