Smaragdi Hotel

"This hotel is a little gem in Artemonas on Sifno island. The rooms are quirky but spacious. The amenities are lovely, it has everything you could need. It’s right at the top of the square and public parking is right next door. The owner and staff are exceptionally friend and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast options were wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic stay. 10/10"

"A tasteful and beautiful decor lovely bathroom, balcony with fabulous views over to the sea and mountains. Leprechaun figures scattered around the hotel made me smile. Amazing breakfast, Maria a wonderful cook with different tasty treats every day. Had to get used to carrying it up 2 flights of stairs to my room but the tray was big. Room very clean. A Sunday treat of chicken pea soup in the afternoon was lovely."

"Beautiful hotel, very serene but still with close access to main villages and beaches. The pool is amazing and the breakfast picnic basket every morning was a real highlight. Dimitris, the hotel manager, was very accommodating and all of the staff were lovely."

Ammoa Beach Residences

"Beautiful beach and surrounding area. There is nothing around so you need to have a car or bring food with you. We had two breakfasts and two dinners at Coco Mat which were both excellent and reasonably priced (as much as you want for breakfast plus omelettes). They also gave us toothpaste as we had forgotten it at our previous stay, which sadly we couldn’t get from Ammoa when we asked. It seems the larger apartments are more true to the images they show you at Ammoa, and at a higher standard in terms of interior, but the 1 bedroom apartments are quite basic and a normal hotel room vibe. Small windows everywhere. Nothing special in terms of design. What is special is the beach and surrounding area. I don’t feel I had seen images of the actual flat they put us in, if I had I would’ve gone at a higher price point somewhere else. Clean and staff was nice. Some tourists with tents/parasols on the beach, but that is to be expected."

"A lovely hotel with very well maintained gardens. They do offer free of charge collection and delivery from the port(they have asked Hotels.com to say this in text many times but it still not advertised) which brilliant. Rooms are lovely and clean. Lovely soft towels and good quality bed linen. The beach is tight in front of the hotel. You can walk too the port along the beach and up some steps and takes about 15 minutes. Excellent beach bar. The staff are very helpful. A lovely hotel."
