Filthy beyond belief. Dirt and some very questionable brown stains on the bathroom door. Tons of dead bugs in all the light covers. Facilities are old and not up to date. First room smelled badly when checked in, had to request another room. Breakfast was worthless. We would not stay here again, also overpriced.

The rooms that we were forced to use were smoking rooms. I did not reserve and pay for smoking rooms. We were informed at check in after a 4 hour drive to get there that's all they had remaining. Mint House is perfect whether you're going downtown via Lyft or driving to the outskirts. You can hear the train as it goes by but the hallways and property are quiet. The pool is heated but shallow. Overall a wonderful stay.

You can spend an afternoon browsing the exhibits at McNairy County Historical Museum during your travels in Selmer. Amble around the area's riverfront or experience its festivals.
