"We were very pleased with our 2-day stay. Despite the older facilities, the service level was excellent. We had the pleasure of Thushanthan helping us with both directions, tips and service — and he spoke our language as well! Overall, a great place to stay for a weekend in Ella. Could use a little touch up here and there, and perhaps a broader range in the breakfast buffet, but truly a great offer for the price. "

"An amazing experience, sleeping in the canopy of the forest. We saw lots of animals and fireflies at night. Accommodation is basic as you would expect but beds and bathroom were clean. Ella is a 5-10 minute walk away via the railway tracks. Route was easy to find as directed by our host. Breakfast was delicious and filling."

"The room was basic but it had almost everything we needed. Cons: the wifi didn’t work very well, the bathroom was basic, and the fridge didn’t work. Pros: the bed was comfortable, the property was quiet but still conveniently located, and we got to watch monkeys swinging around in the trees outside. The host of the property was lovely and he served up a great breakfast each morning. Overall I did enjoy staying at this place. "
