Keeping in mind that this is an extremely old hotel, and there are a few sloping floors and interesting smells, but that said it's a beautiful place. The staff is incredibly helpful and if you're looking to stay in history this is the place.

Very well maintained historic rooms, the claw tub was gorgeous and highly useful with a small water wand for hair and face, backed by tons of glorious hot water. There are ample games and books to enjoy an afternoon or a week!

Well maintained historic hotel. If you enjoy vintage hotels, you'll like this hotel. It has been tastefully updated and the room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff was knowlegeable about the comunity, helpful and courteous. We thought earplugs among the amenities was thoughful, and suspect that 100 year old walls between rooms were not very soundproof, but we did not have adjacent guests so don't know whether the earplugs were necessary. We enjoyed our stay and believe this would be a nice romantic get-away location. Our room had a balcony.

We had a great stay at The Shelburne Hotel. If you're looking for a place with history and character, this is it. The hotel is well maintained, very clean, and the room was comfortable throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, check-in was smooth from start to finish. We enjoyed learning about the hotel's history, which added to the overall experience.

Loved this hotel!!! Would absolutely stay here again. Being able to use the spa services at the adrift hotel was such a plus and the entire vibe of the shelburne was amazing. Didn’t love the food but sitting at the bar with a drink or playing pool was great. Hotel room was clean and comfortable and very cute. Staff was super friendly as well!
