I lived with my family for three days. The toilet was broken for two days. Call the front desk the next day to ask someone to repair it. It will be fixed in about 2 minutes. But we have to pay for it ourselves. In addition, we stayed for 3 days without letting the hotel staff clean the room. But we were charged for cleaning for three days?

If you don’t mind the smell of smoke on the none smoking zone, homeless people hanging around your car and asking for money when you walk outside this is the place for you. I stayed in room 219 had to deal with the bleach smell from the pool downstairs. The ceiling in the room had mold growing on it. Explained my disgust to the front counter staff but he is so warned out by the less then ideal tenants that he didn’t care.

I requested accommodations for myself and two dogs. I checked in and went to my room, later returning with my dogs to go to the room for the night. I took them outside later in the evening and the front desk clerk told me I hadn’t told her about the dogs and said I owed $30/pet/night in addition to the $214 and deposit I already paid and that I’d need to move rooms. I said I needed to go remove my stuff from the room and she told me I couldn’t enter. I repeated that I needed to get my stuff and I don’t want to move rooms, I would like a refund since I didn’t agree to the extra charges and they should’ve been up front at the beginning since I had already notified about my dogs. She said that was fine but I needed to call Expedia for my refund since that’s how I booked the room. I contacted Expedia and they told me the front desk lady denied my refund because I had already checked out. (I DID NOT check out) Expedia is also denying involvement. This place had rats outside, a man attempting to cut his wrist with cardboard sawing at his skin, and it had stains all over the curtains, walls, and carpet. There was a strong cigarette and cleaning product smell throughout the whole place. Only one exit was available into or out of the hotel which I found very uncomfortable. I would only recommend this place if you’re trying to do some sketchy stuff. Nothing good will come of this place. Even without this terrible experience, the hotel is gross and located by the freeway/gas station.

Will never book here again, everyone in general had bad customer service skills. They were all rude, & helpless. The hotel was dirty! It smelled of weed the whole time! There were holes in the wall of our room, there were stickers on the ceiling. Ants on the floor and counters, we had to re activate our room keys daily at the same time! The floor in our room was sticky. It was honestly a complete disappointment. The only nice thing was the gas station next doo.

Not the best and not the worst. There was a lot of construction going on at the time of my stay and it was also a noisy area. They kept losing their luggage trolleys and it made a real hardship for me with my bags. 10 trips going in. No, I don't think I would stay here again. Quite unpleasant experience.

The staff was VERY accommodating. They went above and beyond The facility is disgusting. Many guests/externals wander the building at all hours. More a "shelter" than a "hotel"

The property was old and some things needed to be fixed in the room. The entire hotel needs an updated style but it was clean. My issue is with the staff: I asked for a late checkout and was told it would be 12 pm. At 11 am housekeep asked if we were checking out, i said yes and late checkout. At 11:47 am a random man tried to open the room door and when I came to the door and told him late checkout he said it was 12. I informed him that it wasnt and closed my door. We were then bombarded with phone calls to the room while we were checking and making sure everything was packed. This was quite rude, especially for an old hotel with broken bathroom doors and holes in the walls that were not professionally fixed. Customer service is everything.

Bathroom floor wet due to leaky toilet. Toilet seat loose, and glad I checked it before I sat down. Sink was plugged up. I had to ask for a new room, which was dark. The thermostad on the heater must have been broken, because the heater never shut off and the room overheated. I had to get up in the middle of the night and shut if off. Then the room was cold in the morning. One bar of soap per room for sink and shower, had to ask for more. I was there for 4 nights, had to ask to get room made up and fresh towels. Smell of smoke and pot in hallways and elevator, even though hotel advertised no smoking. Staff lazy and acted as though they couldn't care less.

I've never been in a worse hotel. Pool of urine in elevator. Someone smoking crack, right next to the front door. Side of the tub and shower streaks of dirt. Blankets stained. Fire alarm broken.

I found a razor blade on my nighttable, bathroom was seemingly half-cleaned. My partner and I did not stay the night and wound up having to find lodgings elsewhere.

You do get what you pay for. The staff was friendly and helpful. The condition of this Red Lion is due for updating. My bed was sagging and the pillows are ridiculous. Bring your own. The walls are marked/dirty. The sink will lovingly shower you in a desperate attempt to compete with everything else going on.
