"I definitely will stay at the River Inn again. The room was very clean, quality towels and comfortable beds. Breakfast was included which saved time. My only complaint was that there was not a staff member visible checking in and trying to let them know the Keurig wasn’t working."

"We’ve stayed here several times, and it’s always been a wonderful hotel. We were in room 154 this time, on the first floor, and the noises in the early morning hours were quite loud due to the housekeeping areas being right next to the room. Lots of doors shutting loudly. That is my only complaint, and I wouldn’t stay in this particular room again because of it. The staff here are lovely, accommodating and helpful. The cookies and chowder are a great bonus! We also love that the pool area is open 24 hours for a late night hot tub session. Parking is easy, and the hotel is truly in the perfect location to walk to everything you need, even Safeway, we usually park and don’t drive again until it’s time to leave or we venture to another coastal town for the day. The Tv in the room easily accommodates a Roku. I would recommend this hotel!"

"The property was right on the water, and had the absolute best view. Our balcony was perfect and the property was so much more quaint than the surrounding ones. Small complaints were the furnishings, the stools inside were falling apart, and needed to be maintained. The place needed to be painted, as you could tell its been well loved, and our outside windows were so dirty you could barely see through them. However, the inside was clean, and you could tell the housekeeping staff cared about the job they did. This place is a small, very cute little place, compared to the other places on the Promenade, and we really loved it. The staff were all friendly and easy going. I will definitely be back. The location could not be beat. Thanks guys. Just tighten up those stools. 😉"

"Kind of a weird shower/bath situation in our unit (northwest Timber room). There were chocolate cookies on the floor and open markers beneath the table and chairs when we arrived. Access to the beach from the property requires using a pretty steep set of steps which my elderly parents had some difficulty navigating. Other than that, the location is great, the view from the room was awesome and the beds were comfortable and clean. The lady at the desk in the office when we arrived was very nice and helpful with any questions we had during the stay."
