"The complimentary breakfast was delicious! I had a spinach, mushroom, and cheese omelette. It was so good! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable as well. "

"The Elwood is always a great place to stay. The location is convenient to Campus/Downtown. There is a very good restaurant downstairs. The hotel can be a little noisy because it’s near hospitals. But, that’s not too bad. We still slept well. The only negatives, this time, is they seem to be having an issue that required de-humidifiers in the hallways and our room was always slightly too warm. Overall I definitely recommend this hotel."

"The carpet while clean was not very pleasant for me to look at. The bed was very comfortable. There was only one regular coffee packet and one decaf packet provided in the room. Very good sausage gravy made the breakfast very satisfying."

"The hotel is clean, smells good & the very thing I like the best is the friendliness of the receptionist. Also its quite and not far from the store. But I wish the breakfast had more options or a different menu every day especially if you stay longer than two days. But overall we liked our stay. "
