Beautiful Hotel with awesome Owner that provides that personal hotelier touch. George gave us a history lesson and was gracious and accommodating of our every request - a delightful respite with considerable history. Very clean and modern rooms with art and antiquities everywhere. Will definitely recommend to others.

Very old hotel but in very good shape. George the owner was great and very personable. He made a very good recommendation for dinner and set up reservations. Parking on site!! Breakfast was very good. Hot water in the shower! Bathroom has been modernized.

Excellent family hotel

Georg was a very welcoming & helpful host. Interconnecting family room was great for our requirements- there’s a sliding door between the 2 rooms, and no access to main corridor from the twin bed room. Plenty of space, clean & comfortable. Good selection of breakfast. Georg provided lots of helpful information & happily stored our main luggage while we hiked in the nearby mountains. Would highly recommend & hope to visit again some day.

Very good folks running the place, went above and beyond like opening breakfast early for us so we could make the train, trying to communicate with us in English and help us get around and booked a taxi for us to catch an early train. The breakfast was good as well. One thing to note is it’s a small town so you pretty much need a car all around, the hotel has free parking so that’s nice. Also the hotel felt a little dated inside and in our rooms. Some rooms have been updated and some haven’t. And we missed AC in July, hot days. Overall still great stay due to service and the people. Appreciate them.

Ich habe noch nie so gerne eine Bewertung gerne hinterlassen, wie DIESE hier. Ich tue mich sonst sehr schwer wohlwollende Worte zu finden. Hier wurde mir eine Bewertung sehr einfach gemacht. Wir befanden uns nur auf der Durchreise und suchten auf unserer Route ein Hotel für eine Zwischenübernachtung. Gefühlt - ein kleiner Familienbetrieb. Sehr herzlicher und zuvorkommender Empfang. Nach unserer Ankunft wurden wir gefragt, ob wir noch etwas Essen gehen möchten. Uns wurden mehrere Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe empfohlen und auch gleich die Tischreservierung vorgenommen. Das empfohlene Restaurant - mit traditioneller österreichischer Küche - erwies sich als ein hervorragender Geheimtipp. Auch dort wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt. Dieses kleine Hotel verdient die Höchstbewertung ohne Abzüge. Ein Kompliment- hier wird alles richtig gemacht. Hier ist der Kunde tatsächlich König - auch, wenn man sich nur auf der Durchreise befindet. Wir planen für einen längeren Aufenthalt wiederzukommen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und obwohl direkt an der Straße gelegen, sehr ruhig. Vielen Dank und Grüße an das gesamte Personal
