"We arrived at the resort just after 5pm and was handed our keys with a map of where our unit was and a map of the various sites in the area. We noticed the shop was well stocked. When we got to our cabana, the unit was very clean, with a chocolate for each of us, some rusks and tea/coffee packs. The resort is very tranquil. It is close to every site in the lowveld. "

"The apartment was extremely comfortable and had all the needed amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. The entire pace was spotless and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. They're also centrally located so shops as well as the N4 highway are easy to access. Despite the central location, it's still very quiet with lots of trees and birds around. Highly recommended!"

"We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...

"This hotel is well located near the city center and close to restaurants and malls, shops and pharmacies. Upon my arrival, I was embarrassed because, despite having made the reservation and paid 24 hours in advance, my reservation and payment were not in the bank system. I had been asked to pay to guarantee the stay. However, the next morning it was already in the system and I was refunded the amount paid the day before, and the manager apologized for the inconvenience."

The small kitchen and well-stocked minibar added a convenient touch to the stay. Although two of the LED lights were not functioning, the overall experience was very positive and offered great value for money. The nearby restaurant, Orange, offered an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly complemented our stay at the guesthouse. Renowned as one of the finest establishments in Mbombela, Orange impressed with its exquisite cuisine, attentive service, and inviting ambiance. Each dish was a delightful testament to culinary artistry, making our meal both memorable and satisfying. Without a doubt, Orange stands out as a culinary gem in the city, adding to the overall positive impression of our visit. "
