"Oh what a treat! This is a stately old brown stone with high ceilings and gorgeous woodwork. Our room had a bay window overlooking the park across the street. The sun streamed through beveled glass all day. French doors led to a huge bathroom with separate vanities. Staff was helpful and friendly—— helped us fix an iPhone issue so we didn’t have to go to the Apple Store. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and we had continuous access to most of the offerings throughout the day. "

"My daughter and I were in town for one night to tour RPI. We certainly chose well with our overnight accommodations. Although the house is quaint, extra clean, and decorated perfectly, the star of our stay was the innkeeper, John. From the moment we walked in, it was like seeing an old friend. "It's a very unique historic house that made our stay magical. The owners are exceptional hosts. Breakfast was excellent, we didn’t need to eat until dinner time that day. The location is literally across the street from the race course and at the same time is quiet and has a very convenient private parking lot. Also, a walking distance from downtown.
