"Room is adequate size, on par with European standard. Facility is showing its age but still reasonable. Check-in was via a hologram in a frame on the front desk, odd, but effective. Not many staff but the young lady in the restaurant, Britt, was particularly helpful and friendly."

It’s a very pleasant hotel but the room is now rather dated with no USB charging point connection and the room lighting is not great. The beds are very comfortable and it’s a clean and good size room."

A really nice touch was I was leaving very early in the morning and they provided me a breakfast bag to take with me. Everything in was very fresh and a great selection. "Lovely place to stay in Wageningen! Great location- just a short 5 minute walk from the bus stop. Wonderful staff - very warm and welcoming - with lovely themed rooms and historical articles. Comfortable and clean rooms. We had a beautiful corner room with lots of windows and natural lighting. We did not go to the restaurant but it looked very nice and seemed very popular but not overcrowded. We brought a baby and they were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again happily!"

"I liked the Hotel with its Dutch charm. There was only one problem, as I didn't know where to eat on the Friday evening, as the Hotel just did breakfast the following day, I checked the information, but it was all in Dutch, which I can't understand. I went back to a garage I had refueled at two miles away to buy a snack and more water. The Hotel is charming with interesting features, it was a shame there weren't more guests. Breakfast was good and varied including English tea. Can't ride a motorcycle without it, you know ! I carry my own tea bags, but didn't need them. Perhaps some hire bicycles would have been useful."
