I was surprised

The room was just average but it was very nice and cozy it was even handicap accessible which was a plus with me even had a shower chair for people who can't stand that's a plus in my book any day you really can't beat it for the price.

The best about the room was the bed. Too bad the ceiling has on it, ac was extremely loud and the bathroom door would stick and be extremely loud.

Clean room

Room was clean. The hotel was in a convenient location for my purpose of travel. The air conditioner didn't work 100% but I got by.

The staff is nice but the rooms aren’t the best. My room suddenly had a leak in the ceiling so I had to move. The beds are comfortable but the water for a shower was like warm at best. The staff is nice though and they didn’t hesitate at giving me a different room when I went to the office and told them the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking.

This hotel is in great need for an immediate renovation. Both my lamp shades were dirty and had mold residue. The floor tiles are coming up in some areas and pose trip hazards. The room smelled of smoke and dingy overall. When I arrived home I could still smell the odor on my clothes and my CPAP machine. I cannot say that the shower was clean because there was a dirty soap left on the dirty shelf in the shower. My bedspread had several cigarette burns and my room was a non-smoking room. While the shower head was dated the water was hot. The hotel is in a great area for shopping and dining. This hotel was not worth what I paid through Expedia. I wish there was a selection to upload the photos I took of the room.

My first night I walked into my room after check in to a puddle of water coming from the small fridge. They had to move me but could not put me in the same room with king bed. Instead they put me in a room with two doubles. The room was clean except around the base of the toilet. Housekeeping needs to make sure they are cleaning the urine from the base of the toilet. The bed was super comfortable though. I decided to stay in Savannah for another night so I booked the same hotel for the 2nd night because the bed was comfortable. The new room was cleaner and bed still comfy but the fridge was very noisy for some reason. Staff was nice at check in though and I mostly look for a place that's affordable and close to SCAD and has a comfy bed so this ticks all those boxes. If you are looking for something fancy, this is not it but if you want a comfy bed, clean (for the most part) and won't break the budget, Econo Lodge Savannah Midtown is a good place to stay.

This place was dirty creepy smelly and in need of repair. The floor was coming apart and just overall crappy. We checked in and in ten minutes checked out, I assume I lost my money but I really don't care. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place. WHAT WAS I THINKING ? You get what you pay for.
