Some lovely staff, good location, a short walk to town. Bedrooms were small but functional, bathrooms a little tired. Was unable to stop room being too hot despite turning down radiators. Breakfast service was slow and random, much better to provide a buffet, or even just a self service coffee machine, it could take 20 mins to get a coffee in morning. We didn’t stay around the bar for the nightly karaoke style singer.

Un albergo 4 stelle a 270 euro a notte che non ti sistema stanza dopo 7 ore di assenza salla stanza. Bagno vuoto senza vanity set. Neanche la macchina del caffe.

La struttura è gradevole e bella la locationo. Sul servizio meglio sorvolare . Avevamo la mezza pensione e ci hanno servito cibo chiaramente scaldato nel microonde e in parte freddo. Il personale era poco istruito e goffo nelle modalità con cui si muoveva. Infine, ed è la cosa peggiore, abbiamo scelto la strttura perchè aveva la spa ma ne sulle condizioni di acquisto ne alla reception dell'Hotel ci hanno detto che era a pagamento (50€). Quando abbiamo fatto notare la cosa ci hanno detto che era una novità e che non era riportata su Expedia.ma non si sono posti il problema ne di scusarsi ne di fare un gesto riparatore di qualsiasi natura. In trentino un acosa cosi non è neanche concepibile anch ein strtture con meno stelle

Fantastic hotel!
Great hotel, the service was truly outstanding and all staff were friendly, personal and gave us all fantastic attention. The rooms were a bit small but comfortable beds. Facility is great, the wine collection is world class and breakfast and food at the restaurant fantastic. Can strongly recommend this hotel.

Trevligt hotell med fantastisk service och vänlig personal. Bra mat och underbar panaromautsikt över bergen. Firade min 50-årsdag på hotellet med arrangerad middag i den fina vinkällaren. En liten bit till liften men bra shuttel service. Rekommenderas!!

Excellent hotel with good facilities and first rate service. Great bar area. Mini bus service to take you to the slopes and, located in old town, easy walking access to shops and restaurants. Perfect for our short Christmas ski break

Great location fantastic staff very helpful . Rooms have been updated but could do with a little more updating maybe with the furniture .. beds were new and fabulous . Lounge area lovely and breakfast amazing choice ! Would definitely recommend and I will be back .. a great few days

la parte più bella dell’albergo è sicuramente la hall e la zona ristorante, tutta in legno e pietra che crea una bella atmosfera. Da rivedere sicuramente le camere e soprattutto i bagni che dovrebbero essere assolutamente ristrutturati, non sono all’altezza di un albergo a 4 stelle. Il personale è volenteroso ma non tutti i suoi componenti all’altezza di un 4 stelle .. Da rilevare che le camere vicino all’ascensore sono parecchio rumorose .. ogni volta che viene usato l’ascensore si sente un rumore molto fastidioso ... Il costo nel complesso è esagerato per il servizio offerto.

6 jours en famille à 4 dans cet hôtel. Beaucoup de déceptions: accueil impersonnel, pas de possibilité d'avoir des renseignements sur la station, restaurant le soir cher et avec une cuisine totalement quelconque, chambres TRES petites, vieillottes, à peine éclairées, ne correspondent pas au photos du site, tout à fait inadmissibles pour un hotel 4 étoiles. Quelques bons points: situation proche du centre et donc de vrais restaurants (ouf, pour éviter celui de l'hotel) nombreux avec de bonnes surprises, le petit déjeuner acceptable, la vue pendant celui-ci, le service navette gratuit pour rejoindre les pistes pourtant toutes proches, Nous n'avons pas essayé le spa

Très loin de valoir son prix...
Joli petit village, hôtel très beau à l'entrée, un endroit de relaxation magnifique, spa, hamam, sauna, qu'il faudra quand même payer en supplément. Un personnel pas très agréable, voir pas du tout pour le serveur. Nous avons même suspecté qu'il soit rentré dans notre chambre à un moment où il n'avait rien à y faire. Un soir en rentrant après une sortie, nous avons retrouvé son odeur de parfum très forte dans notre chambre?!? Plus que déstabilisant. En sachant qu'il voulait que nous laissions les clés à l'accueil quand nous partions. Nous avons aussi retrouvé une bouteille d'eau sur le rebord de notre fenêtre un matin, alors que nous dormions la fenetre ouverte… il n'y avait pas de clim. Obligé de faire la douche à genoux car le tuyau était trop court… Du coup très loin de valoir 4 étoiles… Nous avons été stressé tout le séjour, en se sentant épié. Et il est bien évident que je ne le conseille pas et que nous n'y retournerons jamais.

Ho trascorso un week end con la famiglia ed i due nostri cani. Prima della prenotazione ho telefonato per chiedere se accettassero animali è relativo supplemento. Risposta positiva e supplemento di 40€. Anche se eccessivo ho accettato ed ho prenotato una camera di livello superiore con balcone. Alla partenza mi hanno addebitato il doppio, ovvero 80€, dicendomi di aver praticato un prezzo di favore...... Non ci sono i prezzi dei piatti sul menù al tavolo (altra sorpresa alla partenza...). Non sono citati i supplementi per uso di palestra e piscina durante la prenotazione è pari a 10 € per persona (normalmente sono gratuiti in altre strutture) Si vede che la struttura era adibita in precedenza ad altri usi per la presenza di cartelli su ingresso secondario e su alcune vetrate (colonia di noto gruppo industriale) ed il livello a mio parere non corrisponde a quello assegnato Peccato perché la posizione è ottima, ha parcheggio privato ed è vicino al centro ed agli impianti di risalita

Hotel was nice in a scenic location. We stayed for 1 night stop over in the summer season so was nice and quiet. The breakfast was small and not much choice. The only other thing was there was no air conditioning in the room as it was very hot in the summer months

The hotel has a good location right next to the city center. The staff is friendy and service minded. The rooms are however small like closets which made the stay uncomfortable.

Best hotel in the italian alps!
We had an amazing trip to sauze d’oulx! Very much thanks to the grand besson hotel, the hotel was refurbished late 2018 and feels so chic & fresh! We had never visited this parts of the alps but were so positively surprised! Village is so genuine & pretty & slopes really wide & nice too. And The hotel us GREAT - standard & comfort is perfect! Tasteful interior. Staff is lovely - very helpful, warm and accomodating (& always with a smile). Live music in the bar/lobby at night, which helps with spreading a great vibe for social activities before & after dinner. Great menu & food at the restaurant every day! Accopanied by great wine list too. spa facilities are perfect. Beautiful rooms, we stayed in a mini suite w bath tub in the room - very spacious and lovely decorated! Definitely best hotel in the village/area. Also great with childrens thanks to location & staff. Shuttle to & from lift station when suitable for you! Would love to go back to enjoy it all again!!! Pure bliss!!!

Potential to be great but needs attention
Good points - the staff are amazing. Very kind, welcoming & helpful - good food at dinner in the restaurant - nice bar area and spa - good location close to town - shuttle bus to lift but can also walk there (approx 5 mins) Bad points: - our room on 2nd floor was far too hot. Even though we turned off all the radiators it was so hot it was difficult to sleep - beds so hard it is like sleeping on a board - breakfast needs improving - when fire is lit in the bar there is so much smoke that it is unpleasant to sit in. Rooms are very small but this wasn't an issue for us.

Ottima location, ma per il resto...
Anche se viene definito come un quattro stelle, non lo è. Mi è piaciuto molto l'impegno degli impiegati, siano essi del front desk, che driver, a sostenere una baracca che si mantiene per miracolo. Ad ogni modo, sarà perché sono del sud e sono abituato a certe cose, io e mia moglie ci siamo divertiti, nonostante tutto, è questo l'importante!

Breve vacanza ok
Tutto ok. Posizione ok. Camera ampia con balconata panoramica vista monti. Ampio parcheggio. Personale cordiale e molto disponibile. Colazione a buffet varia e abbondante, sarebbe stato perfetto un cappuccio tipo bar e non dal distributore automatico ma è un dettaglio rimediabile. Non abbiamo usufruito nè della SPA nè del ristorante per i quali non posso dare una valutazione.

Ottima posizione, a pochi minuti dal centro del paese. Wifi stabile e veloce, colazione ottima Camera un po' piccola. In bagno la porta del box doccia è stata sostituita da una tenda fuori misura, non è una cosa che mi aspetto da un hotel di questa categoria.

Albergo datato e attualmente in cambio gestione, trascurato sia per servizi che per aree esterne. Colazione inqualificabile, mancava tutto e personale non all'altezza della gestione.

Albergo molti scenografico, hall molto bella e accoglienza da quattro stelle. Peccato che una delle due camere assegnateci fosse di fatto una singola con due materassi singoli affiancati, un solo comodino, gli interruttori per la luce e le prese elettriche solo da un lato e nemmeno lo spazio per una sedia. Lettore delle card magnetiche per l'ingresso a pezzi. Colazione da due stelle: zero yogurt, zero latte fresco o altri prodotti tipici della montagna, torte di bassa qualita'. Spa a pagamento (20euro). Peccato, perche' spazi e organizzazione sarebbero da 4 stelle.

GOOD HOTEL EASY TO GET TO SKI SLOPES AND TOWN
AFTER BEING TOLD WE HAD NO BOOKING AND THAT THEY DONT DEAL WITH EXPEDIA WE WERE GIVEN A ROOM. THIS WAS AFTER A LONG DELAY AT GATWICK AIRPORT AND A TIRING DAY. MY ADVICE TO ANYONE IS CHECK WITH HOTEL TO CONFIRM BOOKING PERSONALLY BEFORE ARRIVING TO SAVE A GREAT DEAL OF STRESS.

Hotel Besson - made good by it's staff & spa
Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly lady on reception who made us feel welcomed and gave us an intro into Sauze d'oulx as we were an early arrival so our room wasn't ready as it still needed cleaning. We got all our bits done, ski pass, hire etc sorted and made our way back to the hotel at around 16:00 - and room 210 awaited us. Unfortunately room 210 was very small (which the reception staff admitted to) and the bed barely managed to fit in the room, not something we were expecting from a 4* hotel. After the initial 'wow this is small' passed we noticed the floor was filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned - especially as we found a pair of socks covered in dust by the bed as well as an assortment of food scraps. So we went to ask to be moved and were told by a separate receptionist that they had no other rooms, we would have to wait until tomorrow and only apologised about the cleanliness - didn't even offer to get it clean. The next day we did get moved to room 309, a much bigger room, suitable for the price we paid, however the floor again was a state - cleaning service needs improving. One of our party had a bad injury so was off the slopes for the duration of our stay. The receptionists were great offering help and the barman also was attentive with the daily ice. I presume it to be the hotel manager who was most helpful also in calling the loal trauma centre so we could get medical assistance. We only had 1 day in the spa, but wish we went in it more!!
