"I was absolutely surprised at how luxurious this hotel was. Beautiful spacious rooms, gorgeous views. Immaculate service! Provided all kinds of drinks, coffee, hot tea, matcha, etc in room. Provided toiletries and amenities. Spacious bathrooms with separate tub & shower. Amazing 10/10 stay."

"I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot really comment about it. But by what I experienced at the hotel I am pretty sure it would have been pretty good. On arrival at the hotel I was given a free upgrade which I was very happy with. It was a very large, very clean room with a double bed and a great view from the window. Sorry I forgot to take any photos of the room. It was only about a 8 min walk from the train station. All the staff were very nice and friendly. I had a fantastic time there. Cheers"

"Rooms were very nice. I especially enjoyed the size of room 611. So spacious! The free refreshment room near the lobby is a nice touch. Although I did not have access on my last three days. Staff is very courteous, particularly the front door staff. 18日間お世話になりました。有り難うございました。"

"As far as what I didn’t like there is not much that I can think of other than clothes are hard to dry in high humidity. This was not the hotels issue . The property was super clean, staff was fantastic, and it was connected by a short bridge walkway to the train system. Super easy to navigate all over Kyoto. We received a 1000 yen voucher per person in our room which we used at the steakhouse on property. By far top 5 dinners I’ve had, ever…I would highly recommend Hotel Emion Kyoto to anyone thinking of traveling to Kyoto. "

"Amazing drinks in lobby with happy hour at check in. Beds and linens slept were great. Even had tub, seperate shower and clothes washer/dryer. Will definitely stay here again. Staff was extremely helpful sending luggage to next hotel."
