Recommended for your stay in Sarande

Great hotel if youre staying in Sarande. Great area and pool and right on the beach. Good breakfast. Nice and clean room.

Great room and bathroom size. Excellent view from beach front. Breakfast was good with a great variety but seem like you had to eat early as hotel only put out so much. Pool area and swim area had plenty of room and chairs for everyone. There is a cafe down stairs if drinks or coffee is wanted by the beach.

Nice location, nice pool, needs some work though

The hotel comes with a nice, clean pool (which was never crowded) and a beautiful view towards Corfu. Breakfast is simple but nice and the staff were all friendly. Lots of lunch and dinner options nearby (there is no food except for breakfast at the hotel) We found the beds to be uncomfortable and in the 2 bedroom suites, only one of the rooms has A/C. Some rooms have renovated bathrooms but if you are unlucky like us, the old bathrooms are very run down, nowhere to hang towels and no shower curtains so water goes everywhere. It's okay for a few days in Sarande for a fsmily with kids.

Beautiful location, directly on the sea. We booked a sea view room and had wonderful views for seven nights watching cruise ships on the horizon and yachts coming in to the new harbor area. Breakfast buffet was good and had many selections, however there is no restaurant on-site for lunch and dinner, as listed incorrectly on Expedia. There are many dining options nearby. On-site bar is very convenient (cash-only) and has great views too. You can relax and sunbathe at the pool (many lounge chairs are available) or out on the rocky outcropping that juts out directly on the Ionian sea. The room itself is very modern and clean, however the safe is too small and can be picked up and taken away. Overall a great experience at this hotel.

Overall, a great hotel with a superb location: direct access to the beach (not sand) and beautiful pool area. The restaurant has a great view of the sea and the hotel (only rooms with sea view) have a great view. Hotel is well located with restaurants and shopping areas around the corner, “downtown” Saranda is a good ten-minute walk away. Receptionist called taxis upon request. Breakfast buffet was decent. All in all good stay. However, the pool area and the beach area, which both included lounge beds and chairs, were left carelessly and did not get cleaned up at night or seemingly in general. The beds had stains all over them, were left randomly around the area, and seemed to not be well taken care of. No trash cans at the beach area, which meant trash and bottles strewn around. You can only pay cash at the bar, which is inconvenient. Few vegetarian options at the restaurant. The reception was not staffed at night and we had to wait to get help with an unknown noise (turned out it was a bird that had nested in the roof). All in all, a good concept but not well executed.

Elena was super helpful and really helped make our trip! Awesome staff throughout and well maintained. The area was perfect - quiet at night, and a close walk to the promenade / nightlife (which was much noisier for hotels - I’d recommend staying here and walking)

We came originally for a friend’s wedding in Tirana, but decided to do a little vacation for ourselves, since we came to Albania. The drive was spectacular, Albania and the roads scenery are absolutely gorgeous. However since it’s our first time in Albania we noticed that a lot of buildings were unfinished throughout the country. We were pleasantly surprised that Sarande Palace was an exception, the building is situated towards the end of the boulevard which gives the most beautiful sunset view and quietness, as the busy section of Sarande is very noisy. Ory - the receptionist went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and perfect. She seriously runs the place and cares for the service they provide to guests. Ory gave us tips and recommendations for pretty much anything we asked, she even offered laundry and dry cleaning services if needed. The pool was clean and big, they have plenty of beds and cabanas available for guests in the beach area. The restaurant and the bars provided very good food and cocktails. The service was on a high level and the prices were competitive. The view from room balcony was spectacular. The rooms were clean, updated and thoughtfully furnished. If you are going to Sarande book this hotel, it’s worth every penny and you would have an amazing time and beautiful memories. Five stars hands down. Thank you, Ory and Sarande Palace team.

Friendly staff good location need more renovation from inside rooms, we were not allowed to eat in rooms, we had to pay for our capaccino, tea was cold eggs were cold, the breakfast was beyond average. Same items everyday. The staff made our stay pleasant other than that it was very annoying that we had to have cold food and coffee and tea.

Caveat Emptor: pix & description misleading

Chose it based on description & pix. At best half-truths. Pool was green w/trash floating in it. Asked if it'd be cleaned: told it wasn't yet open. No loungers by pool. Pool bar was set up but told not open. Ad photo shows wide beach & direct sea access.THAT beach is a different hotel's beach: warned by reception not to access it. Saranda Palace has NO beach.Do have an elevated platform with sand & dozen wooden loungers. For 2 days no cushions, no shades. Access to that area from pool deck was past a stand being built, nails & wood pieces strewn about. Access to the sea itself? Via a rusty ladder or crumbling cement steps onto a dirty tiny rocky strip not big enough to lay down on. Sign in WC says "towels not to leave room" but 3 calls to reception? No answer so no idea where pool towels were when we wanted to lie out. Toiletries & towels on the bed but only a bottom sheet. Had to find & put on the top sheet & comforter. First time ever I had to make a hotel bed on arrival! Room is stylish (if small) but our "side bay view" was of elevator shaft & neighboring hotel: peek of bay. Asked for a view: told none avail (clearly untrue as there were v few guests. Breakfast not until 8 am. 20 people on a tour asking for coffee: staff went to market to buy beans. Someone asked for a cappuccino: staffer went to buy milk. An Italian woman commented: "Didn't they know they were going to have guests?" Wait staff embarrassed & apologetic. Find a better run hotel, honest management.

Fantastisk strand hotell

Ett fantastisk opphold for mor og datter ferie. Flott område med alle fasiliteter og gratis solsenger og strand håndklær . Flott restaurant med god og variert mat. Frokosten var god og med variert . Vi hadde en ubehagelig situasjon/opplevelse med nabo hotell der vi betalte direkte til en mannlig ansatt for en båttur uten å få kvittering ( som vi ønsket). Det endte med at båtutleier ringte til hotellet og beskyldte oss for å ikke betale. Så et tips er å ikke forhåndsbetale for severdigheter uten å få kvittering . Damen i resepsjonen taklet situasjonen profesjonelt og støttet oss samt at hun trodde på oss. De ansatte på hotellet er fantastiske og vi vil spesielt takke damen i resepsjonen for utrolig god og profesjonell fremtoning av denne ubehagelige opplevelsen . Et fantastisk hotell som vi absolutt vil komme tilbake til . Et hotell vi anbefaler for alle som ønsker å nyte klart vann i rolige omgivelser.

Komische Leute , Unfreundliche und Aggressive Menschen Mann kann gar nichts fragen oder sagen egal um was geht, keine Europäische Kultur und Verhalten. Respektloses Verhalten gegenüber Ausländischen Gesten und Familien. Frühstück ist echt mangelhaft und für Kinder gibt es keine warme Getränkte Kakao oder so ähnlich. Keine Kaffee nur heiße Filter Kaffee mit bitterem Geschmack. Zu teuer und nicht empfehlenswert.

Ett trevligt hotell med bra läge för en promenad in till stan och nära terminalen (ca 15 minuters promenad). Fin pool, men stranden var liten och stenig – jag skulle inte kalla det en strand, då den bara är cirka 10 meter bred. Frukosten var okej, men föll oss inte i smaken (en smaksak). Receptionspersonalen kändes oengagerad, men i övrigt var servicen bra.
