Safe, cheap and friendly

A safe, cheap and friendly place to stay. Very accomidating host. Breakfast was included. He allowed me to do a free wash. Not the Ritz but for the price it was fine. I would stay again is visting sarajevo.

Excellent Hostel in Sarajevo

Excellent Service. I had an individual room and I was by 24 days. For me was like staying in a country house in Colombia (my origin Country), but the hostel is near Otoka Market (you can find ATMs there), Mercator, dm, and Airport. The administrator is so gentle and helpful. The Bosnian bread in the breakfast is one of the best I've proved. Thank you for everything.

Falleferdig. Kakerlakker på badet. Edderkopper på veggene. Dørene er korroderte. Vandrerhjemmet uttrykker hans vennlighet. Vannet er ikke alltid varmt. Det er ingen sentralvarme. Badene er skitne. Frokost er ikke daglig.

Helt ok hvis du trænger en billig overnatning

Et gammelt og slidt hostel, hvor du får hvad du betaler for. Det er billigt, og det ses og mærkes. Bygningen er ikke isoleret og med 6 grader om natten i Sarajevo under vores ophold, blev det en kold fornøjelse at sove der. Sengetøj og håndklæder på værelset var rent, men der var ikke vasket i badet og hår (!!!) fra værelsets tidligere boende, lå i badet… Ulækkert! Værten var utrolig hyggelig, trods han næsten ikke snakkede engelsk, bare tysk. Kunne have boet her igen hvis jeg trænger et billigt ophold i Sarajevo, men betaler hellere lidt mere og får noget ordentligt næste gang (hehe)…

Butter vor 6 Wochen abgelaufen. Wer die Küche sieht, verzichtet danach sowieso auf das Frühstück 🤢☠️ Möbel zusammengewuerfelt/provisorisch repariert.... BITTE NICHT BERÜHREN ❗❗❗😵 Die gesamte Wäsche riecht uebel entweder ohne Pulver oder kalt gewaschen. Sofa statt Bett Laken zu klein bzw. tiefe Lunke in der Mitte. Alles feucht und klamm. Dusche kaltes oder gar ein Wasser. Also ne Dusche nehmen können Sie vergessen. Nicht mal warmes Wasser zum Zähne putzen. Der Besitzer gab den Wasserkocher nicht heraus, hatte Angst ich kann nicht damit umgehen 😡 Das Fenster konnte ich nur einen Spalt weit öffnen, weil das Sofa davorstand. Kein Haken um was anzuhängen, keine Sitzgelegenheit, keine Möglichkeit etwas zu trocken. Frühstück kalt aus dem Kühlschrank auf den Tisch. Der Besitzer, ein sehr alter Mann, REFAT sein Name sagt nur immer :"KEIN PROBLEM" aber die Probleme wurden von Tag zu Tag mehr, sodass ich nach 5 Naechten abreiste, obwohl ich 9 bezahlt hatte. Ich weiß, dass ich für einen geringen Preis keine Besonderheiten verlangen

場所は衷心より離れており、最寄りのトラム駅から歩いて15分ほどと立地はよくないです。ただし、コストパフォーマンスは抜群です。 １５€で個室、部屋備えつけのシャワールームとトイレがついた部屋で、朝食もついています。スタッフは親切で、言葉は通じませんが、とてもフレンドリーに対応してもらいました。１人旅の人には、お勧めです。very good hostel !

Nice hostel

It is easy to go city center and to the airport with the number 103. The owner of hostel is so friendly. If I have a chance to come Sarajevo, I will stay again in this hostel :)

Vlasnik objekta nije bio na mjestu niti se javljao na poziv telefonom. Zvao ga je majstor koji je vršio neke radove u objektu. Osjećali smo se primorani da tražimo drugi smještaj.

Would recommend.

Stayed here in Ramadan for 4 nights. Excellent place to stay not far from travel links and restaurants. Large mosque 10 minutes away. Owner could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Nice single room with bathroom and free wifi. My room also had a balcony.

Svårt att hitta till och inte så smidigt med allmänna kommunikationer men väldigt trevlig personal som bjöd på det lilla extra vid alla tillfällen. Champions League i receptionen, extra tilltugg efter vi kom tillbaka från löpturen m.m. Väl fungerande wi-fi för de som värdesätter det. Stort och rymligt rum. Mycket prisvärt på det stora hela.

Hiukan nuhjuinen ja vaatimaton, mutta tämä onkin hostelli. Pieni huone joka sopii paremmin yhdelle hengelle. Lämmitys oli poikki, mutta isäntä toi lisälämmittimen. Muuten hinta-laatu ok. Todella avulias ja ystävällinen isäntä.

Great Stay, Friendly Staff, Low Prices

Hostel Gonzo has a nice location, is well priced, and the staff are very helpful and outgoing! While it is a Hostel, the rooms were spacious, the bed comfy, and the showers worked well. The staff were particularly helpful - I don't speak much Bosnian, but they did their best to provide tips for getting around, and were very willing to help make my stay as comfy as possible. If you don't mind being in a Hostel, this is probably as good a set of rooms as you can find for the money in Sarajevo!

When I arrived to Hotel Gonzo, they showed a room with four bed. While I was having rest in my room another person told me that I should go to another room at another floor. New room was one big room but no private bath and toilet in it. And during to check out, they said that credit card is not accessable for payment. According to the reservation rules of hotel credit card was accesible. It was really big problem for me, because I had only Turkish Liras in cash. I had to find a bankomat to withdraw money in their currency by taxi and pay commission to bank. At the other hand I was trying to catch my plane. Informations about payment and room conditions of hotels in web site must be true and clear so that this kind of last minute surprises not to happen for travellers with low budget. Thanks

2 Amazing days in Sarajevo

Staying at Gonzo hostel was great experience. You feel like a family member. You can count on hostel staff at anytime. They ll solve all your problems and help you to mmove around Sarajevo. Location is in peaceful area you can fully recover after travel. City center can be reach by troley bus or taxi which is also pretty cheap.

Great customer service.

The service was great. Host made sure I had everything to be comfortable. I got sick while in Bosnia and the host took me to the hospital. The customer service is a priority. I had a great experience staying here. I definitely would stay again.
