Damp and moldy
The air was very damp and smelled like mold. There was indeed some black mold on the shower curtain and on the window curtain. Everything felt slightly damp in the room including our pillows. We had a lovely stay at the Azoris Faial Garden hotel. Fabulous views of Pico island and lovely hotel grounds. Food was very good, plenty of choice at breakfast and all food clearly labelled for allergens. The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Great location. Friendky and helpful staff. Very clean. Bed was comfortable with very nuce linen and towels. Included breakfast was also very good. Parking is provided free and there are many parking spots nearby. We'll be staying here again upon our return to Faial
