"Phenomenal staff, service and great stay"

"The hotel is set on a hillside facing the Douro River. Our room had an incredible view. The place is quiet and well-maintained. Our room was clean and had all the amenities of home. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and they offered to make you eggs and pancakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Gorgeous property, with a beautiful restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Extensive facilities. Would definitely recommend!"

"Excelente hotel. Otima equipe."

"Everything is very nice at this hotel"

"Rooms are spacious, with lovely balconies and views. The pool is great with lots of space. The restaurant on site is fantastic; wonderful food and very reasonably priced."

"A very old and tired hotel. Room had not been aired for a long time so smelled damp and musty - I had to open the window as soon as I entered the room. Old furniture, old and dilapidated bathroom / shower. Span and gym not available. Swimming pool available but costs €18 for a swim! I dont expect to pay as a guest of the hotel. Breakfast OK - coffee cold."

"Beautiful place! Would recommend stay here. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at this property. The staff was fantastic and the chef on site was great! The ease for eating on site was so very nice. "

"The staff was very friendly, and both the property and my room were clean. The location was convenient to the center of town, and street parking was easy to find. I especially appreciated the magazines in different languages provided in the room, as I love to read at night and had forgotten to bring my own. The bed was also very comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep."
