We had the best stay of our entire Portugal trip here! The staff were amazing. The pool is beautiful, and the food and wine were fantastic. We ordered dinner prior to arriving and would highly recommend that experience. Everything is very clean! Plenty of parking for our rental car. We had car trouble when leaving and the staff was very helpful in assisting. We will be back! Thank you!

It is a really nice quinta to relax, its very quiet and calming. The staff were super helpful and Quinta’s wine collection is really good. We had a wonderful time!

We absolutely adored our stay at Gricha! We spent 2 nights and could have stayed weeks! The hotel was wonderful at accommodating our late arrival and early departure. We loved breakfast, the picnic lunch, the pool, the tour, the tasting, and our catered dinner. I enjoyed that they offered an honesty bar for wine. We would highly recommend!

Probably the nicest and most idyllic place we’ve ever stayed, this was an exceptionally well kept and peaceful location to stay in the Douro. Telmo was so kind and helpful before and during our stay, as were all the staff. We had an excellent tour and tasting, and we decided to eat in both minus (a good decision). Can’t recommend highly enough.

Absolutely amazing stay. Guilherme and Andrea couldn’t have been warmer. Guilherme especially gave some amazing local recommendations and made my birthday very special. Just very warm people. The Quinta itself is very picturesque, high quality and we really liked the mix between high end care and also relaxed ‘at home’ vibe. For example the honesty bar and the local meals from a local restaurant. We felt incredibly comfortable and very happy in our two days here. Truly an experience we won’t forget. Ross and Ivy

The location was gorgeous with spectacular views, a welcoming fire in the fireplace, friendly helpful staff, and great breakfast spread. There were informative books in the living room that inspired us to add sights to our visit. It was a relaxing, restoring visit after lots of driving.

We were there for 2 nights. The room does not have a mini fridge so while searching for a place to store two bottles of beer and lunch food I was told I cannot bring my own food here to make sandwiches for a lunch nor can I drink my two beers on their property because they supply and make their own wine and beer (and expect us to buy their product). They will provide you with lunch however for a ridiculous price of 30 Euros each. I told the custodian who greeted us that if I knew that I would not have booked the property since nowhere on their website does it state these rules. He begrudgingly let me use their kitchen fridge and watched me like a hawk while I drank my beer and made my lunch on the common terrace anyway. I did buy a bottle of their red wine for our two dinners we bought. This person really rubbed us the wrong way.

Staying at Quinta da Gricha was a great experience. The property is beautiful, nestled on hills with beautiful vineyards. The staff are remarkably helpful and wonderful to work with. We enjoyed having dinner on the property rather than traveling to outside restaurants, and we also took advantage of the wine tasting and tour.

If you want a quiet, beautiful, and restful hotel, this is it. The breakfast is amazing. One day we stayed at the property and just walked through the vinyards, picked oranges and lemons, read on the veranda and took a tour of the winery. Everyone who works here is lovely and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is a little bit of a drive into town, but it is worth it!
