Modern well equipped room. Very clean and housekeeping came everyday to make beds/ change towels. Beds were very comfy. Shower was great- hot and powerful. Lovely roof terraces with great sunset views. Staff were all extremely friendly and very accommodating. There is a safe and mini fridge in the room too.

I like to give people grace, but there were a few red flags about my stay here. First, reception didn’t open until 3pm, and after contacting the owner via WhatsApp, he told us to leave our luggage in this area behind reception. Granted, I don’t think many people were going through this area, but anyone could’ve accessed it. The gate could be easily opened by anyone (no lock) and everyone’s stuff was just out there. Check-in was fine, but he was very insistent that we pay the tax in cash instead of card. Every other place I’ve stayed in has accepted card to pay this tax and we had to go and withdraw money to do this. The room itself was nice (be warned - plenty of stairs to bring luggage up and down) and unique. However we quickly noticed there were SO many mosquitoes. I killed more than 25 and there were still more. Definitely got bit and bit while I slept. Last major red flag was booking a shuttle with their partner service. I asked both the owner when I checked in and another employee working reception when I paid the tax in cash, so it was definitely scheduled. However we were waiting for the shuttle to the airport, and it simply never came. It also never contacted me via WhatsApp to confirm (like the employee said they would). This is more so the fault of the shuttle service, but I do think some responsibility falls on the hotel itself since this was an advertised service. They apologized for this but wanted to provide this as another example of a poor experience.

Great place to stay in Thira. The two front desk receptionists are extremely helpful and kind, and the rooms were very clean. Given the location, this place is really well priced and we would definitely stay here again!
